It's funny because I actually think scantily clad is bad. The image seems to be gone but it didn't look good.
I'd much rather see something cute and just aesthetically pleasing like a special dress or a simply summer dress.

People think that children sometimes are being sexualized. No doubt this is true, but to some degree it ironically also seems to work as a pedophile repellant. Every pedo I've talked to has reacted in much the same way as people here when they see things like Toddlers and Tiaras. Literally nobody likes stuff like that save for those crazy parents.

And I guess now the Chinese public as well?

I'll tell you why the pic doesn't exist anymore. Type in "Chutian Automobile Culture Festival" in Google, hit images and see which website ranks pretty high up for that topic. With a topic like this exploding all over the net, I can see why DV wouldn't want any visual ties to this. Not to mention most pics block out the childrens faces whereas the OP's pic, did not.

We have sexualized children throughout history. This isn't an anomaly.
This SEEMS like it must be more than a PREFERENCE thing, as I am a huge pervert, and I don't see anything sexual about children. I know that you guys aren't pretending to not be attracted, because I know that I am not attracted. I can't fathom being sexually attracted to a child, or another man, or a tree stump. I mean, there is nothing there! Nothing about a child, a man, or a tree stump is related to delivering children, so I don't see anything that can possibly be sexy. But some do, and that is why I don't think it's merely preference. How does one CHOOSE what to be attracted to? I don't think it's possible.
I suppose I'm glad that my sexual preference is readily accepted and expected by the public. If it was not, I'm not sure what I would do about that. The public is becoming more accepting of homosexuality, which seems to be an enlightened stance, I think. But homosexuality also can be practiced without creating victims. Pedophilia really can't. You cannot have a relationship of that nature with a child without greatly affecting the psyche/development of that child, usually in a definitively negative way, and in those rare cases where the child isn't completely traumatized, one can still make the argument that the child has been affected in ways that are not obviously seen.
But this is still not something that can be considered to be an absolute evil. Homosexuality isn't considered evil (to most enlightened public). Loving some fantasy character is a bit different, but it's not evil. Love with balloons is considered to be weird, but not evil. This almost makes it worse. People can't choose what they are attracted to, and this is very bothersome, for now we must deal with the idea that these people are actually victims of their own biological building blocks, and that really isn't easy to do. Pedophiles usually don't seem to want to HURT the child. They are just attracted to the child (I know, that's weird to even type. lol). So we can't outright HATE them, and we can't punish them just for having thoughts. I think it would be easier to cope with the concept if we could consider them to be evil.

In conclusion I think we should put a stop to this calamity by banning children from the country.
