I listen to a lot of metal, sometimes Opera, sometimes instrumental piano/guitar type of things. What do you like?

Yeah. I only like some tracks on the very moment I listen to them. Sometimes I listen to it afterwards and I think it's total shit. Though I have a few tracks that I'll always like, a lot depends on the current mood.

The artists I listen to most are probably Neil Young, Old Crow Medicine Show, The Beastie Boys, R.E.M., The Talking Heads, Tom Petty, Rehab, Matchbox Twenty...Of course I don't just listen to those bands exclusively, but those are the bands that I like most I suppose. I'm not a hipster...I swear...

To all the metal fans, you should check out Sybreed, my favorite band. They describe their sound as Death Wave (Death Metal/New wave), but I think it sounds more like Industrial Metal with Electronics elements. Best listened with 12" sub in the car

Anyways, here's the best track in my opinion of each of their albums. Enjoy!

      Bioactive - Slave Design

      Isolate - Antares

Lucifer Effect - The Pulse of Awakening

I'm liking the song Bioactive the best out of all of them. Thanks. I'll check out the album sometime.

I keep hearing that Radioactive song on the radio, and I've been digging it. I'm not sure that I've heard much else by them. Are there any tracks that you would recommend?

Here is the list of bands past and present that I keep going back to:

AFI, Thrice, Thursday, Brand New, Alexisonfire, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sublime, The Dreadnoughts, Between the Buried and Me, The Mars Volta, 3, Bedouin Soundclash, Metric, Tiger Army, Cursive, Iron Maiden, Circa Survive, Inner Surge, Minus The Bear, Motion City Soundtrack, Millencolin, Bad Religion, NOFX, Rancid, Pepper, Theset, Coheed & Cambria, No Use For a Name, The Faint, Big D and the Kids Table, Protest the Hero, Belvedere, Deville, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Deep Purple, Blink 182, Gallows, Ninjaspy, Rise Against, The Receiving End of Sirens, IllScarlett. And many more.

Metal wankers! (said in tone of bus wankers on inbetweeners)

I like a heap of stuff, but my favourites are Sigur Ros, Regina Spektor, Missy Higgins, Lisa Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Sarah McLachlan, Radiohead, Neil Young, Eminem, JayZ.

I've been listening to that Macklemore guy recently since I've heard about him quite a bit. I like him a lot, absolutely awesome music.

I mostly like the slower kinds of music, like Magnet, Morrissey and Leonard Cohen. I also listen to some trip hop, like Massive attack, and I like musicals.

Quite a spectrum. The holy trinity is punk, ska and reggae.
Anything dub that reminds me of the right kind of drugs.
      Ambient, chill electronic, garage, surf,
      Psychadelic, psychotronic, psychobilly
Lots of things people show me that don't fit into my framework but make me smile.

It's so hard to pick my absolute favorite, so I'll just post what I'm listening to at the moment
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QImHOYHUuu4

I like a pretty wide variety of music, some of my favorite artists/bands/composers are Sigur Ros, Tallest Man on Earth, Beirut, Mahler, Copland, Iron and Wine, Wes Montgomery, Elgar, Brahms, and many others.
