Hey guys, it's Xyyzzz here. I was letting my mind float around in the clouds when I remembered this website knows as FreeRice.com. You may or may not have went on it before. Basically, for every one question you answer correctly on a wide range of categories, the system donates 10 grains of rice to countries in need via the WFP. Is it legit? Yes! The sponsors below the answering page each are worth enough to pay for 10 grains of rice for each person that sees it. It's not much, but the amount it takes to answer a question correctly isn't much either. Eventually, people like us can use the power of the Internet and this system to feed hundreds of people.
Now to actually play the game, you simply press the FreeRice logo on the top-left of any page, select a subject, and start answering questions. There are different levels ranging from just a low number like 2 to a large amount of levels like 60. It all depends on the subject. The FreeRice database adds different questions, subjects and levels every month or so. And, if you haven't realized yet, the higher the level - the harder the questions. Keep in mind that levels are just to ask harder questions, you still only donate 10 grains per correct answer.
The FreeRice website has some features, too. You may make an account and all of your totals and ranks are saved. Of course, you may donate anonymously, but that's not that fun. Becoming a registered user also allows you to join groups, and this is the primary reason I made this thread. I've created a group called DreamViews, located here: DreamViews | Freerice.com. When you make an account, you can join this group (it's open to the public) and start FreeRicing. When you FreeRice for a specific group, all the amounts of rice you accumulate are added to the group total. How cool does that sound? Imagine us, the DreamViews community, hopping on to the first page of the FreeRice groups. Lucid dreaming would become more known and so would DreamViews. And, more rice for poor people along with our brains getting smarter!
To join the group, you sign up/login, go here, and click on 'Join Group'. Then, you go back to the group page and press 'Play'. Select the subject of your choice and start answering questions. When you start playing for a group, it shows the group you're playing for on the top of the rice bowl. In this case, it'd be 'DreamViews'. All your totals will be added to the group.
