      You know what else makes me smile? Pable de Sarate. I just got his (digitally remastered) recordings from 1904. Born in 1844 and died in 1908, his recordings really show the magical abilities described by people who heard him, even though he was alreay 60 years old (died at 64) he shows such elegant and easy playing it exceeds anything I've heard before!

      He's a violinist, btw
