      Lucid Dream Prank?

Basically, I've started recently making prank videos for youtube. I've only done 2 and if you would like to watch them here they are...

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZoz9c_1VyA

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-99vSlL3rmc

I was thinking wouldn't it be cool to do a prank around lucid dreaming or something based on dreaming. So do any of you guys have any good ideas you would like to see me do?

Lol these are awesome. I think a sweet prank would be to get a bunch of people to stage a dream for someone. Like after someone wakes up have the whole house changed and a bunch of people in the house saying unusual stuff convincing him it was all ways like that.

Agreed, that would be hilarious! I would love to see how much convincing it would take to make somebody actually think that they're dreaming. I know that whenever I get lucid, I always have an "oh shit, what if this is real" moment... Seeing that play out in real life would be absolutely priceless.

You'll take responsibility when they jump out a window?

lol yeah.. I don't think I'd want to see someone literally convinced that they're dreaming. Once they believe they're dreaming, they'll do anything, including things that will actually hurt them in real life. So if it is real life, they're fucked.

As for those videos, they're mildly funny, but largely they're just a bit awkward to me. Some people may like that, but I'm just saying, for me personally, it's a little too awkward to be funny.

      Agreed with Snowy and Dutch.

      That would be epic.

Also a quicker one would just be to walk up to people and say "are you dreaming?" or "do you remember how you got here?" or "this is a dream". stuff like that. It would totally trip out some people, especially if they're LD'ers!

The beauty of a great joke is that it lasts just long enough to almost tip someone but show them the truth at just the right time. I hate jokes were people are seriously insulted or hurt to a point where they have to cry, you don't have to go that far in with this, I'm talking about just staging a 2-3 minute prank where everything seems to be completely different.

That would be cool, you could get some seriously funny responses out of that.

Give him some credit, he only just started up, I'm surprised he had the balls to that. I can see the potential for improvement.

You should never try to do anything in a lucid dream that would be dangerous in real life until after you have done a guaranteed reality check. It's also good not to use weapons you can use in real life. Laser beams out of your eyes and fingers are good. Also, you should never just jump off a high place in a lucid dream. Let yourself float up into the air. That reality check guarantees that you are dreaming.

Covlad96, please try to find time some day to do that stuff in the southeastern U.S. The reactions would be 10 times funnier. The essence of your comedy in the two videos is in your questions. Those questions with people being less tactful about what they think of them would probably make your videos big hits. You might want to try doing it at a truck stop in your country.

For a prank... You could talk out loud while pretending to be asleep when somebody is in the room with you. Say that you are having a lucid dream but that you can still have a conversation with somebody in the real world. Then say a bunch of really insane stuff about what you are experiencing. You could say that you see God and you know it's really him, or talk as yourself for a minute and suddenly change your voice and say that you are God and took over his body because "he found me." You could act possessed by a demon or say that you are closing in on the secret of the universe and suddenly start speaking in tongues. You could also say, "Oh my God, your mother is raping me!" and describe the experience.

You could also use this idea from the move Airplane!, starting at 1:01.

Yes! I would love to do a prank like that. It would be great to do on my brother as he began LD'ing with me at one point. It'd be difficult to change the room whilst he's asleep without him waking but I reckon I could possibly pull it off. I'll will definitely think about having a go at this

Yeahh I hear what you're saying. I kinda in a way went for the awkwardness in these 'pranks.' A lot of people I'm subscribed to on youtube make stuff more on the awkward side of things and I personally like that. Calling them pranks are a bit misleading but I'm not too sure what else to call them.

Also a quicker one would just be to walk up to people and say "are you dreaming?" or "do you remember how you got here?" or "this is a dream". stuff like that. It would totally trip out some people, especially if they're LD'ers!
I will 100% do this one!

I'm from the UK haha. So I can't really do these in southeastern US and I'm not really sure what a truck stop is?

I said "some day." I think you can do it. A truck stop is where drivers of big transport trucks (18 wheelers, etc.) often park their trucks to sleep, shower, eat diner food, smoke meth, and have sex with prostitutes.
