September 1st 2005, cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls.
YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS!!
To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 1-888-382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time and it blocks your number for five (5) years.
You can also do this online at www.donotcall.gov
Pass this on to all your friends.. they'll appreciate it!
(I'm assuming this applies only to those of us in the USA but I could be wrong)

Okay, what if it's ouside the united states?
Surely they only charge you if you pick up? If i see a number i don't recognise on my phone, i hang up on them.'all of the moments that already passed/
try to go back and make them last.'

i like to mess with telemarketers, and the only reason i have a calling plan is because it lowers the cost of my data plan. If i had a dollar for all the minutes I HAVENT used... yeah.

Thanks for the information, as soon as my new cell gets here, i'll be calling that number. That's really outrageous...boy, the things that they approve these days.

it's not really a big deal. I mean yeah, its going to suck, but they're telemarketers. As soon as you find out who they are, then just hang up on them. At the most, you'll be using only seconds of your time.

alot of wireless phone companies deduct an entire minute just from answering your phone. this adds up to unnecessary, and annoying, charges. Aren't there enough things we have to pay for as it is without this kind of shit?

I remember my first national survey. It made my dad cry. He was so proud of me.
I said a was a single mid-30 male that made $500,000+ dollars a year with a horse and a pool. I was laughing really hard. In the middle to save myself I said, "Hey, don't do that yet." When they asked if I was single my sister shouted "Not for long." When she asked my name I burped the name Bob and it was played back for me. The fun stuff you can do to telemarketers.
I find telemarketers evil and they must be dealt with in a just way.
