Looks like I might have to invest in a new computer... I really hate the new Windows editions, especially Windows 8...

Windows 7 is a phenomenal OS and there is literally no reason to stick with Windows XP when 7 has been a proven OS for so many years now. Windows 8, in its current state, is trash, but they'll eventually update it to be more like Windows 7. Under the hood, it is actually a better OS than 7, but the UI is absolutely horrid.

On top of that, Windows XP was released in 2001, nearly 13 years ago. It was outdated 8 years ago, and still using it to this day is an act of insanity.

Windows 7 is the Windows XP of the newer editions. Windows Vista is okay, 7 is what Vista should have been, and Windows 8 blows fucking hard.
