Because I thought there might be a possibility that staff still adhered to their own rules.....oh well...

I am sure the reason was because it became a continuation of a previously closed thread. Bickering or expressing anger with "the staff" or "the system" has no place on the general boards. The thread devolved into a continuation of the older topic, so closing it was really just the same as not allowing you to circumvent a past closed thread. Perhaps a better explanation at the time would have been helpful, but I am sure you kind of understood the 'why' of it.

I understand and you are justified in your actions. You have always been for the forum first and I can respect that. Unfortunately I have nowhere else to go to 'bicker'...

You were on staff. You know the rules, since you are quoting from them. And I have also told you in a PM.
