new banner for forum--need help!

Hey,

If you haven't already please read the latest announcement re: seeking a new flash banner for the forum (http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21053). If anyone is interested in this, please contact me or post in the Art Team's forum in the thread entitled "new banner development." Or, if you know of someone who is >awesome< in art and would possibly like to help out, please ask him or her. I'm not just looking for something cute, but something very professional looking and clean and sleek; something we'd all be proud to have atop the forum & main site. Cartoons might be welcome, or something more realistic is great as well. It can either use the current mountain background, or a different one, or something else altogether. We are aiming for both a nighttime and daytime banner, and further details are in the announcement.

Right now I have only a couple people working on this and throwing ideas out, and I'd love to get some more people involved who are very artistically inclined. So if you (or someone you know) can help out....please do!

IceDawg, I do not think that flash is the way to go. although it looks nice, It has little to no suppport for portable devices, like my psp, which I like to use to in bed so I can get my mind focused on lding. maybe you could make a non flash version of the site along with the new flash version.

You just have to know how to use Flash!! Luckily, I have learned more about it in school, & I am willing to give it another try!

That's not what he means.

I like the idea of day/night banners. But you should be able to see the rest of the site fine right? Does it really matter if you can't see the banner.
