I'm not too concerned about a zombie apocalypse even if one were to take place. Zombies go after people with brains so i'm safe. :chuckle:
Don't know why or if it could happen but tbh I've often kinda wanted it to happen. Probably wont think the same way if it actually did but if it did, I would like to have at least one bad ass moment before dying.
The only thing I feel like wouldn't happen, is their ability to move for long. I don't care how much brain is resurrected or how much brain they crave, without a working heart and circulatory system, they ain't gonna be moving much.
But if for SOME reason there was a work-around for that, I'm wearing head-to-toe chain maille!
I kind of wish there will be a real zombie that looks like Nemesis in Resident Evil but with a lovely personality. He looks kind of sexy to be honest in that trench coat. About your questions, maybe it would happen if people starts to serve brains as their diet in the future but I called that sick in the head.
I'd guess it'd be pretty unlikely to get a full-blown undead uprising style zombie apocalypse. The closest I could imagine to something like a zombie movie is a really contagious rabies-style virus going crazy. Kind of like 28 days later. To be honest, I'd think any virus resistant to modern antibiotics is a pretty terrifying idea if it becomes a pandemic. Ever watch that Steven Soderbergh movie Contagion? Some doctor I talked to said that kind of outbreak could happen within our lifetimes.
The only way I can see that stuff as actually happening is in the future, if people are like cyborgs and stuff. In which case, it would be possible to be dead but still moving around as your cybernetic body parts continues to move your corpse. I suppose you could also make weaponized nanovirus, that spreads with nanobots or something and they infect people and make them zombies. So the people go around biting each other to infect them, and even after the person dies, the nanobots could possibly keep the persons body animated. If it turns out we live in a simulated reality in a computer instead of a real one, then it would be possible to hack the code and cause events that are physically impossible to happen.
Haha, I never thought of cyborg zombies!
Have you taken a look at people today? It is already happening :cheeky:
