nothing makes me happy today i miss my chance to try canwild technique :D wake up 15early then my alarm should wake me
Having some extra money to spend makes me VERY happy.
I FINALLY found a decent fanny pack to replace the one I've worn into the ground. Unfortunately, it's camo, but I can live with that. It's Mossy Oaks "Turkey Thugs" () and has lots of pockets and lots of space.
I also bought 2 more items for my bug out bag- a 10 piece camping cooking set and an ER Poncho. I have 3 gallons of water, which I'm trying to grow by 3 every week until I have about 30.
Next week, I'm going to actually buy the bag for bugging out with  I don't expect anything major to happen, but I'd like to be prepared.
The fact that I've caught up with the Mind Mastery series I put out on my YouTube channel is making me pretty happy at the moment. I got a bit behind on my releases since I was working on making a Lucid Dreaming audio course, so having had today's episode ready, uploaded, tagged etc all well in advance feels good. Can get back to my schedule now.
Also my muscles have stopped being so sore so I know I'll be able to get a really good workout in today, so that's another thing definitely making me smile right now. :D
Little troopers in my taekwondo class. Every Friday I teach the white belt kids class. Kids don't complain, are eager to learn, hardworking, and just overall good children. Little kid today, 6 years old. Just joined today and I already got him keeping his arms up when he kicks and doing the whole blocking set. :ninja: And that is what made me happy today. :D
Unlike a certain red belt class that I should be participating in and always get stuck leading the stretches for. Red belt class full of some of the worst teen brats, should be embarrassed how much better kids 10 years younger than them behave.
TKD Master: "Are you going to stay and warm up the red belt class?"
Me: "Nope! Sorry! Just remembered I have to feed the rug and vacuum the cat!" *Runs away*
A nice bowl of Organic Instant Quaker Oats Oatmeal (plain) with some cinnamon + sugar mix. Oh and the box cover for Trader Joe's Instant Packets of Organic Hot Cocoa Mix. It's kinda nice packaging "cover art".
Things that have made me happy today:
1) Down to like 13.5% body fat now, only got a few more % to go before I can start on my clean bulk and start building some muscle. After being super underweight (no muscle OR fat) last year, I basically piled on the pounds wanting to stop being underweight - but went to excess with it, and ended up like 27-29% body fat, fat, and with only a tiny bit more muscle. So to be 13.5% now with a flat stomach, took a while, and it feels good to finally be somewhere where I'm happy with my appearance. A couple % more and I should be able to see if I built any abs during the last year.
2) Just hit 10 weeks (70 days) of NoFap. I'm doing a 90 day challenge at the moment. Prior to this challenge the longest I ever made it was 8 days, and even that was a struggle. So having not even made it 10 days before, I've now made it 10 weeks. Pretty damn proud of myself, and I'm 100% certain I'll make it all the way to 90 days.
3) Worked out nice and hard today. It's funny looking back at how like 6 months ago I'd feel like I "worked out hard" if I did like 20 half-push ups (since I wasn't even capable of doing full pushups at the time), and I'd work out every day with no rest periods, and only do push-ups and no other exercises and wonder why my muscles were lacking. Now I do 3 sets each for about 11 different exercises, targetting my whole body each time, and totalling about ~45-55 minutes of exercise one day, then rest the next day. My body feels so much better for it, plus I feel way more fulfilled after a workout.
Finally had a pretty good lucid dream after starting again after a 4-month dry spell. Super excited for tonight!
Also I got the DVDs I ordered from amazon including:
-The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
-In Bruges
-The Deer Hunter
-Traffic
-Run Lola Run
Super excited to see these!
I'm happy with the fact that I am able to go to bed tonight knowing I have no real obligations to comply with tomorrow :D
I got happy of the notion that it's a new day..:)
Everything. Any of you remember back when you were less than 10 years old, and school would get off for the summer. Remember how you felt on that first day of summer? It felt like you had an endless amount of fun ahead of you, there was no stress or worry, school seemed too far off, and you just felt amazing.
Then we get older, responsibilities and stress take over, and that feeling vanishes, pushed to the depths of our memories, as merely a fond recollection of the past.
Or does it? Well, apparently not forever. I feel that genuine freedom I felt as a kid once again. I feel alive. I feel happy. Proud. Excited. Amazing. I can't sufficiently word just how happy I feel today, but it's great.
That said, some more specifics that made me happy today:
- Accidentally discovered a really high protein (and alright tasting) snack: Cottage Cheese mixed with Peanut Butter - it actually tastes kinda chocolatey, and the protein content is super high. As a result, I'm managing to get ~130g of protein in my daily calorie allowance today, which is real nice and more than I need.
- Been eating healthy and nice in general today.
- Worked out harder than ever before today.
- Got to see the new house my girlfriend bought today.
- Recorded two new videos for my YouTube channel.
- Got back into practising Zazen.
- Annnnd a whole bunch more..
Woo! :D
I got a pm for having a big gif again. Think this is the third time. Best day ever.xD
Discovered POP! Vinyl the other day. Have 4 now: 2 Hannibal Lecters, Ash from Army of Darkness and the Cheshire Cat.
I met a nice old man on a walk. He reminded me of my grandfather. (Not that my grandfather's dead or anything, but it was nice)
Well, I practiced happiness. Refusing to get angry at my Father over him just joking or whatever is helping me be not burnt out, yah. Oh and I'm listening to The New Pornographers' "Challengers" album as I type this (Yes that's a band) and I like listening to that. :)
One of my Working regimes - Managed 4 press ups yesterday and been doing some of Wim Hoffs breathing exersizes and 10 min cold showers or swims in cold cold river :alien: each day for about 2 months and feeling GOOD from it
And the fact that I am alive! Hope I am anyway ....RC ' Is this a dream?'
Lunch out with the family. :)
Starting my new job today at Quiznos, crafting the finest submarine sandwhiches in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
I enjoyed a nice organic potato.
Have you ever watched Kid President? Nice to see. That and (being a Brony) I still find Pinkie Pie's "Smile Smile Smile" song to be a healthy dosage - along with the other MLP: FIM song "A True True Friend". :)
Having a good end of work day. (Work has not been that great lately. )
As I'm sure some remember that know me well enough, I am adopted. In this phase of my life I've been reconnecting with my blood family. Im ecstatic to say my birth mom is arriving from Saskatchewan tomorrow for a visit, this will be my first time seeing her since 1997. I will also be meeting her boyfriend and my sister who is 7.
I got out of feeling stressed and feeling nice by listening to music. Does that qualify?
I remembered this song
