I know how that is, in the apartment I used to live in one of the neighboors owned a rooster... the little f*ck*r would do his cock-a-doodle-do thing at least once every two hours. He was freakin' loud and would sometimes wake me up at 4 in the morning. Thank God I don't live there anymore.

i have 3 big dogs. and if an owl flies by or a siren goes off, they'll bark/howl for a good 15 minutes. every damn night. i'm surprised our neighbors haven't done something drastic.

...or you could get a smaller gun, say a pellet gun or BB gun, and shoot it when it pisses you off, so it will learn to associate PAIN when it barks in the night...(also, related to OPERANT CONDITIONING in the psychological world :yumdumdoodledum: )

Get a guitar, and amps three times the cost of the guitar.

Make a home made phaser (not the music kind).

Maybe I will just turn my music up REALLY loudly so it shakes both of the houses. The owner is not home yet so it really does not matter. And if they do complain I will tell them to turn thier dog the hell down then first.

lucky bastard, but that doesn't compare to my $250 sound card. MUAHAHAHAHAHA!! I need to get some 8.1 surround sound sometime soon. Munkle has 2.1 I think.

My sound card is only a sound blaster live 5.1. I don't remember how much it was, but it was not near to 250 by far. I would never do something that crazy, lol. It is just that in a year it will sell for 100.

Not to rain on everyone's parade here, but have you tried talking to the owners first? They can't keep the dog shacked up in the basement barking it's brains out all the time. I don't even think that's legal. If it gets that bad, call the police and complain. Nothing wakes someone up to their stupidity like a man in blue ringing their doorbell.

Record the dog barking and then play that on some big speakers.

I was going to suggest getting a dog whistle and blowing it when the neighbors are trying to sleep, but I like Stalkers idea much better!

I'm sure that the neighbors dont hear it, probably are too drunk, or hit their head on the counter to cut out the barking... or just get rid of the dog, would work too
