I have been having a serious chest pain every time I swallow food. The nurse says it could be a growth in my chest blocking something :makeitstop: or it could be something that went down the wrong pipe(non-scientific term) or it could be an allergic reaction to a medicine ive been taking.Anyone had something like this happen?

Also it doesnt burn, it feels like a lump is blcoking the way down.
Thin esophagas lining, anxiety, gas, (chest) hernia, there's alot of things that can do that.

I had really bad chest pains every time my heart beated one day and i was so bloody scared i called 999!(911) lol, but they told me they couldnt help cus i asked for advice and i should ring this other number, nhs healthline(nhs=national health service) so they sent an ambulance round! i waited hours in hospital, had an ecg and they said it was reflux, like heartburn. It could be that-reflux, go to a doctor or take some heartburn pills and see if it works.
Id had the pain for awhile though, it started after getting very pissed, i kept getting a funny feeling in my chest and wanting to pass out too. I actually had to walk out of terminator 3 cus i couldnt take it :lol: my pain was right in the center of my chest though which i was told after is not where it hurts if its your heart. The heart moves down your left side when youre an embryo so it will hurt there and down your left arm, so if that happens and you get sweaty palms and feel like your going to pass out, go to hospital! if its reflux, then every time you get it, its more likely to happen again so unlucky mate.
what sucks is im 13! this isnt supposed to happen. :roll:
Oh yeah, a friend of mine said the same thing as you a while ago and he ended up having an operation because it was so painful he couldnt eat, not sure what they actually did to him, I think it was in his throat.
and someone else could hardly breathe, eat or talk! this was on new years eve :lol: they had something wrong with their throat and anti-biotics cleared it up.

Well have you gone to a doctor or had anyone check it out? They'd probably be able to tell you what it is better then us. :P
My parents scheuled an appointment 1st thing tommorow morning, though they still doubt im telling the truth. :roll:
Turns out some type of medicine that ive been taking had been pretty much eating up my lungs. But its ok, they gave me medicine to fix it. :roll:

You where supposed to swallow the medicine, not inhale it, silly!
I swallowed it, it easily gets stuck in your esophogus though.

How old are you ffx? when i was 14/15 i had a problem with swollowing, it passed though, and these pains in my chest.
if it doesnt smooth out for you, you should get checked up at your friendly doctor
yea you should always get bad chest pains checked out by a doctor
