      haha

      little known fact
the two best known programmes (the other being Due South) that portray Canada aren't shown in Canada
so they never have any idea what you're going on about

I think it's a ploy by america to undermine the canadians remotely

      Time's have changed
      Our kids are getting worse
      They wont obey their parents
They just want to fart and curse!
      Should we blame the government?
      Or blame society?
Or should we blame the images on TV?
      No, blame Canada
      Blame Canada
With all their beady little eyes
And flappin heads so full of lies
      Blame Canada
      Blame Canada

We need to form a full assault
      It's Canadas fault!
      Don't blame me
      For my son Stan
      He saw the darn cartoon
And now he's off to join the Klan!
      And my boy Eric once
Had my picture on his shelf
But now when I see him he tells me to fuck myself!
      Well, blame Canada
      Blame Canada
It seems that everythings gone wrong
      Since Canada came along
      Blame Canada
      Blame Canada

There not even a real country anyway
My son could've been a doctor or a lawyer it's true
Instead he burned up like a piggy on a barbecue
      Should we blame the matches?
      Should we blame the fire?
Or the doctors who allowed him to expire?
      Heck no!
      Blame Canada
      Blame Canada

      With all their hockey hubbabaloo
And that bitch Anne Murray too
      Blame Canada
      Shame on Canada
      The smut we must stop
      The trash we must smash
      Laughter and fun
      must all be undone
We must blame them and cause a fuss
Before someone thinks of blaming uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuus

I just saw south park the movie again and it's still funny like hell (in southpark canadians talk with their head moving around their jaw or something =D )

Anyhow. Canada > U.S.A. lol. It really is. I would rather live in canada, dispite of the fact that it would FREEZE MY ASS OFF!

I'm on the border so I have a kind-of neutral accent (a hybrid of Canadian/American, if you will). I've heard people say 'aboot' though so it's somewhere around here, but not where I am. I think they might further north (such as Toronto).

And yes, the top parts of our heads are separate from our bodies, which becomes evident when we open our mouths to talk. (Just go with it...the Americans think it's true). *snort*

I'm a couple hours North of Toronto and have never heard the infamous "aboot"....I think maybe it's big in the maritimes? Or maybe out west.

yeah, i've noticed alot of fellow canadians too.

i think it has something to do with the fact we have the highest internet use per capita, and are generally quite progressive and open-minded (though maybe not as much as those crazy dutch ).

yeah, Canada is pretty open-minded =) Come to think of it, besides the fact that licking iron poles is death cause #1 in canada (becouse it's so cold) it really is one of the 'best' countries in the world.

Ofcourse allways second to the Netherlands ^_____^

No, NOT out west. Trust me. I've lived here all my life, we DO NOT say aboot. I swear, we don't fit any of those Canadian stereotypes, eh.

If it weren't so cold, I'd probably move to Canada. I'm just not too fond of sub-freezing temperatures, unless it means I can snowboard.

Canada is pretty awesome, I live in the northwest of the US so a drive up to Canada is only a few hours. Richmond and Vancouver are the towns I visit. Richmond for the Chinese food and Vancouver for the weed. The border stop to get into Canada is always friendly but coming back to the states the border patrol are kinda dicks. I would like to move to Canada but have heard the imagration laws are strict. Canada wants americans about as much as america wants mexicans, or at least I heard. So if any canadian hotties want to get maried to an american let me know.

      its all true

      Canda is > U.S.

At 9 970 610 km², Canada is the world's second-largest country, surpassed only by the Russian Federation.
Canada comprises 7% of the world's land mass, and 9% of its fresh water supply. Of a total of over ten million square kilometres, over nine million are land and 755 000 fresh water.

      Re: its all true

according to my anthropology text, apparently we have a reputation for being "the world's least imperfect society." w00t! it of course IS a Canadian edition...so...there could be a tiny bit of bias there.

About the 'aboot'. My American friends say that I say it, although I have no idea on what they base this accusation. I've heard a lot of Neufy's say "it's aboot time", so I'm guessing it's more prevalent out east. Further east than the prairies anyway. It sounds like it may be a bit of the Scottish influence.

When the ice caps melt, it's going to be a tropical paradise around here (unless your house ends up under water). In conclusion, Canada is awesome.

Nope, we've got South Park here, too. We get pretty much all the same shows that you guys have.

And about this 'aboot' thing; I've never heard anyone say it around here (Alberta), save for when someone is jokingly portraying a stereotypical Canadian.
