      I'm sooo tierd.

2 nights ago I only had 4 hours of sleep. And last night i didnt go to bed at all ( I was busying working on something elce) And now im at work and my mind keeps wandering. Everytime I close my eyes i get a fallign feeling and immages and dream like scenes start to happen. I still have 6 more hours of work. Any tips on getting untierd?

      Well, here are a few
Make yourself as hyper (eat a whole bunch of sweets, or think of something funny like coning me!!) as you can. What I find is that I can get terrible insomnia if I do that right b4 I go to bed, & it can take maybe 2 hours to fall asleep.
Also, stretching out a bit helps....make sure you do it often, or you might find yourself in a WILD at work....(usually WILD is good, but not at work/school).

Another thing to do is to think, "I only have 6 hours to go, which are going fly by really fast, & b4 I know it, I will be done." (And b4 you ask, yes, I have done this b4 when I go to work in the summer at 8AM after staying up for huge amounts of time). And just remember that it can be common to stare off into space (I do it all the time, even when I am not tired). If you find yourself doing that, & become aware that you are doing so, snap yourself out of it...you will get a bit startled, but some of the tiredness should melt away.

Stretching always works for me. Hands above your head, touch your toes,
side to side, that sort of thing. Push ups are good, too. Anything to stimulate
your circulation and get your muscles active. Also, avoid sugar and caffeine.
Both will make you alert at first, but will make you feel worse in the long run.
Protein is best for healthy, quick energy. If you do fall asleep, at least have a
      lucid !

      You're getting sleepy......

Try running cold water on your wrists.

You could also tickle the roof of your mouth with the tip of your tongue (it feels weird but it perks you up for a bit).

Somewhere on DV I read about a technique that involves direct eye-ball contact for a few seconds with cold water. It is said to wake you up greatly right away.

Or just drink 25 cans of energy drink, but that might kill you ^_^

Bananas have good slow release energy!

Also, some energy drinks (like Red Bull) have Taurine in them, which is actually a slow release caffeine.

But sugar and regular caffeine just make you crash after a short high.

Sleep my pretty, sleeeeeeeeeep. It's the only way to really re-energize!

      Hope you get un-tired soon!
