Sweden seems like a nice country. Never been there, but ahwell.
You just moved there? Do you speak swedish allready? Must be hard to adjust at first. Ah well I bet it will be fun there :)
I already spoke swedish actually (my mom is swedish), so its not that bad...But I don't really know anyone here, so its a little strange.
Ah well atleast you allready speak the language. I am sure you will meet some new people. You go to school? Hard not to meet people when at school :) otherwise get a job.Quote:

And scandinavian girls are HOT :D
yeah...they sure are attractive. I am going to school and trying to find a job, but the unemployment rate is so high here that it's a bit tough. I'll have to expend a lot more effort than I would in the states.
Is the unemplyment rate high there? I though sweden was one of the richest countries in the world. Norway was atleast . : )Quote:

Yeah, it's sort of counter-intuitive...The social benefits here are so great that it doesn't matter if you're unemployed--You still get to live as if though you had a normal income, because you get a normal income from the government (very high taxes). People here don't think it's going to last too long though, because too many people are starting to take advantage of the system, and those that keep working and paying taxes are basically paying for those who aren't working to live comfortably.
Ah yeah, the downside of a good social system. Same problems with socialism/communism really. I would allso so much take advantage :DQuote:
