Hey there, and welcome back!
It is a bit slow on Saturdays, just to let you know (I know b/c I have been here for almost a year now, just 15 more days), but it gets better on Mondays, and is really active on Friday mornings. It can get to be quite busy on here on the weekdays, but Saturdays are kind of slow (don't ask about Sundays, b/c I am not allowed to post here then)

Well Im bored too. Why arent you allowed to post on Sundays....

Religious reasons. It is suppose to be a day of rest from work and play, which means I cannot come on here. I am lucky if I even make it to my other online journal . At least my parents saw nothing wrong in trying to LD about growing extra arms, pulling my reflection out of the mirror, and hanging out w/her, and I was able to complete the DoG task, but usually on that day, my LDs are just as boring, so I speed up time until it is Monday.
It isn't just the fact I cannot come on here that make Sundays such a horror of bore. To be exact, I cannot play video games at all, can only watch Disney movies, only make sissy pictures and movies, cannot go anywhere, except relative's houses, cannot eat sugar (due to the amount of boringness that day, I cannot get hyper, les I get really sick to the stomach), can't even do my homework to keep myself occupied, and cannot do pretty much anything in a Lucid (cannot do VGs, go on adventures, or anything I couldn't normally do in real time). That day has 'Boring' written all over it, even on Holidays like Christmas (last year's was quite the bore), so my favorite thing to do on Sundays is sleep all day, and speed up time in my LDs (practically the only thing I can do then, except go to Church).

That's fine. I usually get that from the way my religion treats Sundays, and I am sure there are more religions than mine that do the same (my Grandma has the same standards on Sundays, and she is Catholic).

Yes my dad is a born again Christian and he is very strict about the Christian thing. Everyone has their own thing. I wouldnt knock anything. I would like to get into buddhism and my dad thinks thats terrible - says its worshipping a false idol. He doesnt even agree with me doing yoga! I just say to him its my life and i will do what I want. I dont knock him and he shouldnt knock me. Im vegan - obviously - hence the name, and he thinks thats decidedly weird.

When I was younger, my parents forced me to go to church, and Sunday school, and Bible study camp over the summer every year. Once I got older and moved out, I never went back to church again. I think being forced to go, and having it shoved down my throat kinda made it bitter for me. I also believe that I don't need to sit in a building called a church every Sunday for me to prove my faith. They say God is all around you - so why not be spirtual outdoors, or in your car, or whenever you feel like? To me, it's the people who live their faith everyday who are the true believers, not the people who go to church every Sunday and then don't think of it again until next week when they go back. Not to say that all people who go to church every Sunday are like that - but sadly I know a lot who are.

Thats why I like the sound of buddhism. It seems so calm, gentle and uncontroversial. Just a way of life. Sorry, Ive got off the subject of being bored! No more religion. Besides its Tuesday morning in England, not Sunday any more .

Good God! (pun intended) I get a little bored and one big religous fest sprouts up lol! I my self am Catholic and I can do whatever I please on a sunday, usually I have so much homework i have to. I hate to say this cause I know it might start an argument, but I want to establish who I am religously, I belive that you don't have to be "saved" to enter heaven, and you don't even have to belive in god (however I do) to enter heaven, as long as you are a good person, I also enjoy eating meat, swearing, playing M rated videogames, and joking about my religon, because there is always purgatory, however, that does mean that if you are a bad person, belife in god will not save you, you will go to hell even if you do belive in god in those cases.........well, can't say I'm that bored anymore.

your parents/church can't regulate what you do in your dreams . . . sunday or not.

The Lord looketh upon the heart.
Which means that I could be denied access to the Temple if I am not obedient to the Sunday law, even in my Dreams.

yeah, but the "Sunday law" as you call it is subject to interpretation anyway. you can interpret it yourself and determine that it doesn't apply to your dreams. besides,

it seems to me, based on your posts, that you don't really want to follow the Sunday law. you always complain about how boring sundays can be because of it, and how much you want to do the stuff that you're not allowed to. i don't think your heart is really in it. so you (and probably all of us) are kinda screwed anyway.

Yeah, in a way I don't, but also, at least I keep the Sunday law by not doing the stuff, even though I complain about not being able to do it.
