I can't really decide........
I love both dogs and cats, but I have to say that cats are cuddlier and therefore cuter. How can anyone say this isn't cute??

Meow Meows... and if you don't agree, my little white friend to the left will eat you... or at least maul your face off.
Have a nice day :content:
(I will say that I do enjoy dogs and they do have some value to me, but nothing can replace the sincerity of a cat's actions.)
I like cats, but they sure are full of themselves. Of course, dogs are obsessed with getting your approval...So, there's really no winning.
Cat's are NOT full of themselves. You just have to know how to win one over. When you do figure it out they are amazingly great friends. When my little kitten attacks my hand and I scream because it hurts, my older cat will come running to see what's going on. She'll literally get in my face or in my kittens face and make sure I'm ok and everything is fine. Everyone I know who used to hate cats (including myself), have totally changed their minds when they've spent enough time with one.Quote:

I agree, but cats are stil full of themselves. If they don't feel like being around you, they won't be around. Of course, they'll stil show up and demand food...Quote:

Interesting perspective. I see it as being aware of what they want and not being ashamed of who they are.Quote:

Cats rule.
I voted for cats, only because my favorite animal right now is a cat. I love dogs and cats equally. I wish I could find a pic' I have somewhere, where my cat is lying on my dog.
Cats is the boringing.
dogs ruleQuote:

This is such a true statement. I've come across so many people who say, "I hated cats before I got this one, and now I realize what everyone was talking about!" Even my husband who never really liked cats has been won over. Now he talks to and kisses our two cats like little babies (well, we probably won't have kids, so the cats are our kids).Quote:

Cats, just like people and dogs, they have their own unique personalities. You can't make a general statement like "cats are full of themselves", because they're all different. I swear my Tonkinese cat is a dog in a cat's body.
And the very best thing about cats is... they're are so low maintenance! Cats are very clean creatures, they bathe themselves, and eliminate in a litter box - whereas dogs need to be bathed and taken out for walks. That's why I never understood why people buy these little lapdogs - just get a cat! It's the same size, just as full of personality, and much less work to take care of.
Everyone knows cats are on a higher level of existence. These silly humans are just too big-headed to admit their inferiority.
Just think what a nicer world this would be if it were controlled by cats.
You wouldn't see cats having waste disposal problems.
They're neat.
They don't have sexual hangups. A cat gets horny, it does something about it.
They keep reasonable hours. You *never* see a cat up before noon.
They know how to relax. Ever heard of a cat with an ulcer?
What are the chances of a cat starting a nuclear war? Pretty negligible. It's not that they can't, they just know that there are much better things to do with one's time. Like lie in the sun and sleep. Or go exploring the world.
Cats...
I don't know what you look like so I'm gonna say meow meows kuz:

My cat does only four things: eat, sleep, practice killing and killing (somtimes resulting in more eating). The cuteness is all a trick to be able to kill more effectively.
If I was a cat-o-phile I would have a spontanious orgasm.Quote:

I guess it depends on what breed of dog or cat it is. I don't find those hairless pink ugly cats cute.
Edit: HAZAR!-200!
It is a scientific FACT that cats rule and dogs drool. It's true. I know. I've read the studies.
And it's in the bible.

Cats make good chew toys for dogs.
I like cats, just not as much as I like dogs. The reason is dogs don't leave the house, hop over a fence and disapear like all my friends cats did. With a dog you can keep it in the house and take it out for walks without fear of it disapearing. I know that not all cats do this but all the ones I've known have. A cat tried to attack my rabit once, but he kicked the cat clear over the fence. Also I'm alergic to cats.
I agree that dogs and cats have equal levels of personality.
I would like to keep a big cat like a tiger though. Tigers are both beautiful and deadly therefore they rock. Amethyst Star, I love your avatar
Thanks, Dan :D (I made a typo and said "dad" but I erased it. You're not my father...)Quote:

I always say, "Anyone who hates cats just hasn't met the right one yet."
cats are evil, sadistic bastards who feign cuteness for survival reasons
after puncturing your testicles with those claws
leaving dead birds in your washing basket
and shitting behind the tele
cuteness is the only defense they've got
dogs are man's best friend
cats have their own agenda going on
if a cat is being friendly, he is either cold or hungry
DOGS
POO
EVERYWHEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEE
OH MY GOD SHUT UP ALL YOU CAT HATERS!!!!!!!!! I can' t stand this. I'm not watching this thread anymore! :angry:Quote:

Cats don't smell, because they are able to keep themselves clean.
Cats don't need humans to take them for walks, seeing as they are able to find their way home.
When cats lick you, you're not immediately soaked and don't smell bad.
Lets see... cats don't hump random things like the rug in a basket or peoples' legs.
And besides.
"It (The kitten) never feels the necessity to do anything to justify its existence; it does not want to be a Good Citizen; it has never heard of Service. It knows that it is beautiful and delightful, and it considers that a sufficient contribution to the general good."
--Robertson Davies, The Diary of Samuel Marchbanks
The kitten is right. :goodjob2:
The only good cat is a free cat. ;)~

And if you want to blame cats for their superiority, it was humans that made them that way. The Egyptians revered them as gods, so who would want to go back after the royal treatment? The best the bush-people of the jungle could give their dogs was an extra squirrel bone, and they've remained just as happy. So let's not blame our pets for their faults. We have only our... ancestors to blame :D
i bet Dean does too...Quote:
