All I know is that it's called 'half-full' milk. I guess that's like 1% right?

I do love milk, drink it about every day.

      Don't!.
I like soy milk. But 8th Continent brand only for some reason. Try miking 1/2 chocolate and the other vanilla.

I used to drink Vitamin D milk. As I cut down, you notice at first but like most things , you become accustomed to it. I new that so I figured why not drink less fat.

(Did you ever wonder why they fortifie milk with vitamin D but not other diary products, like ice cream?)

      It's 1/2% for me.

It's not like I can tell the difference between 1/2% and 1% - I just always buy the one with the blue lid.

      Does a body good...

I was raised drinking skim milk- everything else tastes too damn thick to me now.

In the early 20th century, rickets, which is associated with vitamin D deficiency, was a very common disease in America. So common, in fact, that the government mandated that commercial milk be fortified with vitamin D to fight the problem. It worked- rickets basically disappeared in America. So the reason that milk is fortified while other dairy products aren't is because milk is considered a more basic part of the American diet, and therefore a more effective way of introducing more vitamin D into that diet. Same deal with iodized salt- a long time ago iodine deficiency was a common problem in America.

Milk, hmm. Not something I prefer to drink and rarely consume at all in its raw form. Dairy products, however, I do like and in many forms; especially cheese.

It is not your place or time to make such inconceivably nonobjective statements. Nor is it in your power to command my actions.

IF I could grab any kind of milk I wanted out of the fridge, it would probably be 2%. My family is going on a whole "eat healthy cut back" deal, so we went to 1%, which to me, serves no real purpose other than to make my cereal taste like crap in the mornings.

hey, afterwards it occured to me i just didn't get your sense of humour. if that was the case, that happens to me too.

your first post just initally struck me as serving no purpose other than to nit-pick on spelling. i guess i was wrong. apologies

although i did get a chuckle out of your second post. "its not your place or time to make such inconceivably nonobjective statements. Nor is it in your power to command my actions"

I am god!! every opinion which falls from my lips is absolute truth, and i command you to feel irritated at this reply, pump blood through your body, and breath at least six times in the next five minutes...

I go through spurts when I drink milk, and then long periods where I don't drink it very often at all. I'd say it's about divided between 2% and Skim. I got used to skim when my mom went on a diet, but I grew up with 2% so either one works for me. I haven't actually tried soy milk, but I drink milk so little that it doesn't really seem that point...ful (whatever the opposite of pointless... purposeful) to me

I also say ice cream... and cream in my coffee.
