Anybody like Good Charlotte?I love there songs especially "The Anthem" "Girls and Boys"and "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" anyone else agree?
If not whats your favorite band?

I really don't like any pop punk, or any spin off of the original punk for that matter. I enjoy electronica more though

A bit of classic rock is nice too. Led Zeppelin is awesome.

haha, i used to go for the whole 'punk rocker' style attitude, when i realized there's more to life than being a 'rebel'

watch the movie SLC PUNK (salt lack city punk)
it changed me completely.

anyway, they suck now, they were better when i saw them live in 2000, i saw them with a bunch of bands last summer, and they sucked.

MXPX is the best band live i've ever seen, even better than GREEN DAY.

INCUBUS is the best band in the world, and i havent seen them live

Paperdoll EP loves Emperor.

SLC Punk was a great movie, I agree, but none of the bands mentioned above are punk

Good Charlotte...meh...used to like them. I believe I gave that album "The Young and the Hopeless" away...or..what's this? it's sitting under my coke...oh that's right, I'm using it as a coaster.

basically, I don't like them. I don't think they're true punk anyway, just wannabes. but this is just my opinion...

my favourite band is Emperor. as LC pointed out. vocalist in my avatar. yeah.

Now if you want TRUE punk, you need to back up a couple of decades and try The Ramones and The Sex Pistols..

Hmm, good charlotte. Yeah, its a nice "gateway band" to the better bands from the "same" music style, like:

NOFX (oh yeah...!!), Goldfinger, Suicide Machines, Jawbreaker, Bouncing Souls, Strike Anywhere, Rise Against.... and the MISFITS!!! (both with and without danzig... I know there's this big group of "Old skool Misfits fans" that totally hate the new stuff... but I like it

)

I'm sorry. that was mean and unnecessary. I was frustrated. you know when you draw something and it looks awsome, but when you ink it you totally ruin it, so you try drawing it again but it never comes out as good as the first? yeah. that.

I dunno about good charlotte, but I like Nofx, Anti-flag, Lagwagon, ect...
And yes old school is the way to go; I wrote Bad Religion on a desk at school and then the next day I looked and someone had scribbled out bad and put in 'Good' religion..
