So yeah...I like this girl.
Yeah...I like this girl. A lot. She's smart, funny, nice, beautiful. Everything. I mean I like her A LOT. One problem though. I'm 15; she's 19. And she has a boyfriend. Is there any way she can like me back? It's almost like she couldn't even if she wanted to because of my age.

Personally, I would kill the boyfriend and make it look like he was killed during sex with another girl. That way, she would be totally free. Then it's time to get out the date rape pills.
Don't worry, just kidding. Her b/f only has to be mortally wounded.

Sounds like someone has been reading my dating guide, How to Bag That Elusive Beaver. ;)~

Well, yes, it is fine for you to like her, but if she is a very popular girl, than she is quite used to being worshipped and would even tend to encourage such worship, to a point, since it translates into votes for Prom Queen, being appointed Head Cheerleader, and all such things. Only in the movies are all the very popular girls extremely bitchy, but in real life the very popular girls are... well, very popular.
But although she may treat you with a charming nobless oblige, you should realize that once you leave the room, so do all her thoughts of you. Perhaps she would think of you before she would think of perhaps the poor starving children in Africa, but that is about it.
I remember that my daughter, when she was 19, kept younger boys about as 'slaves'. They could carry her books and wash her car and do other errands. I have no idea what they got in return, but it was probably very close to nothing. I think she was manipulating their hopes that she would one day begin to truly appreciate them. My daughter found these dreamers and shamelessly exploited them for it.
But there is quite a history of that sort of thing in Western Culture -- Chivalry. The point of Chivalry was that all of the local Knights were supposed to be chastely and purely in love with their Queen, who of course was so much above them that they would never have considered any tangible relationship. The Young Knights were probably sincere, but the older Knights probably just maintained the form and appearances, but kept their real affections for the Lady's in Waiting and the Upstairs Maids -- not so highly exalted but so much more attainable.
I look back at my own High School Career and wonder that I was so silly as to focus so often on those lovely girls who were pre-occupied with other boys, while I almost ignored so many really very nice girls who were really very clear in their interest toward me. I wanted what I couldn't have and disdained that which I could have gotten for the snap of my fingers. I was silly then and now I regret it.

She's nothing like that. She's good looking and all, but there's no way in hell she was like that in high school (I think she might've even told me something like that).
I mean it's not like I never talk to her and stuff. We talk all the time and play cards.
