      So yeah...I like this girl.

Yeah...I like this girl. A lot. She's smart, funny, nice, beautiful. Everything. I mean I like her A LOT. One problem though. I'm 15; she's 19. And she has a boyfriend. Is there any way she can like me back? It's almost like she couldn't even if she wanted to because of my age.

At your age, an age gap is monumental. You change so much in the years between your late teens and early twenties. So even people who are the same age who date during those years, usually end up breaking up because their lives are going different directions. It works out for a small percentage of couples, but not for the majority.

Plus she has a boyfriend - trying to steal her away would only creep her out. Maybe they'll break up and you can make your move.

Personally, I would kill the boyfriend and make it look like he was killed during sex with another girl. That way, she would be totally free. Then it's time to get out the date rape pills.

Don't worry, just kidding. Her b/f only has to be mortally wounded.

I don't want to sound negative, but at 19, girls aren't interested in 15 year old guys. Even if she did like you she could not really be interested. Plus, she is probably happy with her boyfriend situation...Even if she isn't, I don't think you have very much of a chance right now.

Perhaps you could wait a few years. If you still like her when you are, 18 she might want to go out with you. That also buys you some time for her to get rid of her boyfriend.....I am sorry I wasn't more optimistic. I was just thinking, if the chick were me, I would not be very interested in a 15 year old romantically. 15 year old brains and 19 year old brains function way differently.

I'm very aware of this, and thank you for being honest.

I've been thinking about that, but she won't be around when I'm 18.

True, but I like her a lot more than the other fish and I don't think I could want another one.

Well, how many past relationships have you been in? If you have had quite a few, than I wouldn't worry about finding someone else. I know it probably hurts. I knew that feeling so well when I was you age...You will find someone else. Don't worry about it.

Well, yes, it is fine for you to like her, but if she is a very popular girl, than she is quite used to being worshipped and would even tend to encourage such worship, to a point, since it translates into votes for Prom Queen, being appointed Head Cheerleader, and all such things. Only in the movies are all the very popular girls extremely bitchy, but in real life the very popular girls are... well, very popular.

But although she may treat you with a charming nobless oblige, you should realize that once you leave the room, so do all her thoughts of you. Perhaps she would think of you before she would think of perhaps the poor starving children in Africa, but that is about it.

I remember that my daughter, when she was 19, kept younger boys about as 'slaves'. They could carry her books and wash her car and do other errands. I have no idea what they got in return, but it was probably very close to nothing. I think she was manipulating their hopes that she would one day begin to truly appreciate them. My daughter found these dreamers and shamelessly exploited them for it.

But there is quite a history of that sort of thing in Western Culture -- Chivalry. The point of Chivalry was that all of the local Knights were supposed to be chastely and purely in love with their Queen, who of course was so much above them that they would never have considered any tangible relationship. The Young Knights were probably sincere, but the older Knights probably just maintained the form and appearances, but kept their real affections for the Lady's in Waiting and the Upstairs Maids -- not so highly exalted but so much more attainable.

I look back at my own High School Career and wonder that I was so silly as to focus so often on those lovely girls who were pre-occupied with other boys, while I almost ignored so many really very nice girls who were really very clear in their interest toward me. I wanted what I couldn't have and disdained that which I could have gotten for the snap of my fingers. I was silly then and now I regret it.

She's nothing like that. She's good looking and all, but there's no way in hell she was like that in high school (I think she might've even told me something like that).

I mean it's not like I never talk to her and stuff. We talk all the time and play cards.

Well I'll try to answer your question.

      Can she like you back?

Yes, but there isn't a high chance of it happening in a least a few years.

If she really does mean something to you, which, I doubt she will after a few months, then just go for it. It won't hurt and you'll probably learn something. Don't break the law though.

Meh, tell her you love her, or drop it. It's a huge age difference. And woman are verry simple: They want an older man.

Becouse woman think older man have bigger penises. Woman are so simple. How often you see a woman liking a younger man?

I don't care for age, as long as it has a vagina, oh and good looks and personality too

Really? Sometimes they make me sick...

But, yeah, Nuero's pretty well right. Women are interested in sex mostly. Why do you think they always choose the good looking jerk over the caring, compassionate, intelligent, guy... There hard wired for it, we all are...
That's the reason we have models... Doesn't matter what you belive in, humans are technically animals. That's why girls smell good. Pheromones.
This basic need is easily surpassed, but only if both parties want to.

Sorry, that's kind of a callus view of the situation.

let her know how you feel straight up, and see what happens. i've never understood those who agonize over where other people are at in a relationship(in a romantic sense or not).

put your cards on the table, and wonder no more. from the sounds of it, she'll tell you you're sweet, and you'll keep playing cards.

oh, incidentally, for all those who are saying what woman would want a younger 'man' (as in 15 or 16), there was story in the news awhile ago. a married, middle-aged schoolteacher had sex with a 15 (?) year old kid, and got busted.

it was a big joke at all the water coolers, especially seeing as she was married " imagine how the husband must feel....her students can satisfy her better than him..." and what have you
