it's perl, not pearl
Ok well im not too worried about the spelling as long as people know what it is and can program in it.Whats important is that its spelt right on the site.
well, programmers (by their very nature) will pull you up on it
not a great start, when your applicants are correcting your advert
by the way,
is there any money involved in this?
yeah... how old are you guys?
when you have aol instant messanger as one of your business contacts... it... well... it seems.... childish.
You'd have to ask Tom, he's the one that actually owns the site.
We have our AIM as ONE of our contacts so people can talk to us easier. If you notice we have our E-mails as our Main contacts. Im 17, im not sure how old he is.Oh, a Ynot, I fixed the pic, so the spelling is perfect.
you do realise that there are countless tutorials on the net already for all the languages you've listed
you will end up getting regurgitated articles
You may want to focus on lesser known languages a bit more
purely to justify the site
I'd keep an eye on Io, it's a new language in it's infancy
http://www.iolanguage.com/about/
As for tutorials, I'm primarilly a php guy
so here's a tit-bit
it's my modifications to the Sajax AJAX php implementation
http://www.modernmethod.com/sajax/forum/vi...topic.php?t=100
I think the Sajax project is defunct (main developer, tlack, is AWOL for close to a year)
but it's quite a nice system, none the less
this bugs me a little. you put C++/C#
I think those should be separate. even though they are based on the same language, they arent similar enough to be separated with a slash.
lol - poor guy
everybody's picking holes in it
colour scheme's nice, tho
*edit*
and no-one's mentioned Texas, USA yet
wonder how long till someone notices that one?
Ok,I don't mean to be blunt about it but, it doesn't matter about minor little things in the flier, all that matters is if you can code in it and are able to write a tutorial about it... so please only post if you are interested in helping us out. Also, if you wouldn't mind, if any of you have myspace, post a bulliton about it for us.
Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.

Freelance IT jobs aren't constant so I'm always looking for more pay.
How large is your budget and how much do you plan to pay?
Why do I make this non-objective deduction right away? Because pro developers (mostly) won't raise a finger without pay, it's just the way it is, heh. That is unless you were to need help with an interesting opensource project...but that's not the case.
P.S. The fact that the poll on the site asks the question "What is your favorite programming language?" and states HTML as one of the answer choices is likely to already turn quite a number of possible helping hands away.
i never noticed that, but now i do, that really bothers me. :?Quote:
