I've also started saying "I'm well" when people ask me how I am. "Well" is an adverb, "good" is an adjective. As a language major I've become more picky so "I'm good" grates a little bit against my ears. Besides, you're not always "good." If you feel like crap then tell me so so I don't make it worse by telling you how everything is bright and sunny.

And people who use "How are you?" as a greeting and then just walk away. I mean, you asked me the question. I want to answer it! Don't initiate a conversation if you don't intend to hold it.

      what's my thing???

i play piano ALL THE TIMES, when i'm on the internet, and some song is playing in my head (which it does, ALL... well... MOST OF THE TIME) i just have to play it on my mouse ...

and i like to use dots... alot...

      and anyway

aaaaaaand... in certain lessons i draw... alot: example: i'm in my greek class, in my german, or my latin class, i just can't stop drawing... no matter how interresting stuff is.
and the drawing are simple: just random figures (SYMMETRIC!!!!!)...

and of course, the occasional drumming on my desk...

My dad's horrible at pronunciation, as well as grammar. It just hurts to listen to him sometimes...
He always uses "ignorant" out of context ('Don't get ignorant with me!' 'You mean beligerant, dad? 'Cuz it's hard to get ignorant. You just are ignorant.') And he can't pronounce "nuclear" (He oughta' run for president.) It's worst when he's driving...he makes up words when he can't think of one that's appropriately nasty.

Oh yeah, my other "thing" is clocks. Ever since I found out about the national atomic clock, I have to make sure my watch is set within a few seconds of the actual time, and I make sure most of the clocks in our house (at least the ones that keep decent time) are within a minute or two -- less if they're digital.

I have a Very odd one, in my Oppinion...

I can get very annoyed by someone saying "Hello" or greeting me, but only if they've seen me recently. Like the other person said Adding the "How are you" makes it worse.

I think my Step dad Started it..ALmost everytime I see him he says " Hello!" or "Good Morning" ina Really Formal tone...I hate it.

I have a habit of straightening things, and I always close doors properly if I find one that isn't closed properly. Oh and I like to keep my hands clean and dry.

I also don't like loud or unnecessary noises, excluding intentional noise such as music. But when I'm walking I like my footfall to be as soft as possible, and I hate it when I can hear my shoelaces hitting my shoes when I walk. I also turn door handles when I'm shutting them; I hate the sound of a slamming door. But it often depends on my mood how sensitive I am.

EDIT: And to go with what's written below me, no offense to parents, but I hate the sound of screaming/crying children. I just can't stand it.
