god dammit. this isn't good. For the last week or so, I've had increasing pain in my eyes. Then today, it really felt like the pain was spreading and I've got a definite pain around my temples too. So, I went online to see what could be wrong and found this . Thats the brand of contact solution I use..... God dammit. This really sucks.

Yeah, a clear case... You have got cancer. - Ok, maybe not. I heard that infections and contacts often go hand in hand. Especially with infected stuff like you had. I'll go away I guess. At least it wasn't grinded glass in your eyes ^__^

I wear contacts and started having pain in one eye and it turned out that I had a small ulcer which was healed with prescription eye ointment/drops. Please be sure and report back after your doctor visit! I want to know that you're ok! .

Meh it's some thing you found on the internet, doesn't necessarily mean it, just be patient and go to the doctor it'll work out.

I heard about this recall on CNN yesterday. Get yourself to the doctor pronto. You don't want to mess around with eye infections since vision loss is at stake. Please keep us posted and I hope you feel better soon.

all is swell =) my eye pain has gone away. We think it was most likely because allergy season was starting up. The main reason I got so worked up was that the day before i was like "dammit, do I have an eye infection or something?" Then I laughed at myself and thought "of course I don't. Something has to cause the infection." I've been pretty much scared off contacts though XD.

And about being scared off your contacts, I hardly ever wear my contacts after having an eye ulcer (I certainly don't wear them all day like I used to). .

bah, my eyes are hurting again and are a little red. No, i haven't gone off to the doctor yet. My mom works in health field(genetics) and is convinced its not an infection because "if it was an infection we'd know" (meaning the symptoms would be alot more severe). plus only 40 got infected so its not a widespread epidemic or something =/. bleh, i'm off to bed. sleep can only help.
