thanks! we're totally psyched about this. we've both been getting pretty restless about the town we curently live in. she's also been getting kinda bored, since she's been out of school a year longer than i have. so we're definitely ready to move.

we are really excited about going to a place with culture! we will have so many great opportunities for going to concerts, plays, operas, etc., that we don't get in utah. we are also excited to be going somewhere with diversity! with few exceptions, everybody in utah is the same! (i'm sure Tsen will agree with me on that one.) it'll be nice to meet people that aren't just like everybody else in the area, that might have differing viewpoints. of course, the corollary to that is that people will be much more open and accepting of differing viewpoints, and that will also be nice.

you know what i'll miss about Logan, UT, though? the summers are really nice here. all five weeks worth.

that's too bad, Texas sucks! if you don't like it, you should get your lover to move with you! there's gotta be better places than hot, stinky DallASS!

(to be honest, i\'m actually a bit nervous, as this will be the farthest from "home" i\'ve ever lived. i\'ve never been out of utah for longer than a couple of months at a time.)

the bay area is amazing. probably my favorite place in america--great food, friendly people and california weather.
