Thread: I LOVE WARM WEATHER!!!

Your not alone, today it hit 100° F for the first time this year, before long it'll be nice and toasty warm (I live in the desert )
My gardens growing and I can finally sleep with my window open again, life is good.

Amen to that! I mean the part about loving the weather. Running around naked isn't really my thing... Now school just needs to end so I can enjoy the weather without feeling guilty about not doing work.

for me, warm weather brings two things:
1. Sweat
2. Bugs

Still, it's refreshing to see the world go green again. Even if it means feeling disgusting now and then.

Everyone in England hates it,

But of course we always moan about the weather.

Well... actually, I gotta say, I like COLD weather. Rain, snow, storms, bring it on, I love it. Which sucks, cos we NEVER get snow here in Auckland, NZ. But yeah... I've always hated warm weather. sorry.

I like warm weather....I like cold weather. Both have their advantages. Right now, I am liking warm weather even more than usual, because with the summer comes graduation..Next monday! And college, and Upward Bound (a summer program I participate in).

I miss raaain.

hells yeah! been absolutely beautiful this last week...

i actually went for my first skinny dip of the year last weekend in a glacier fed lake..incredibly invigorating. prowling the woods naked makes one feel so alive

clothes are mostly unneccesary this time of year.


do you get summer thunderstorms in oregon courtney? those are the best...huge, warm droplets of rain that can soak you to the bone in 2 minutes...

I like warm weather but not hot, today is a good day warm and sunny. Im inside most of the time so I dont experiance nature much. I plan on going outside more this summer, I want to go somewhere and live for about a week, Iv been reading the millitary survival guide and I think its getting to me.

me too! (actually, i've been going around half-naked the past few days anyway. warm sun and breezes feel so good on bare skin!)

that's also definitely one of the better parts of summer. and that will only improve when i move from utah to california!!

Not only do I agree with you here, but I also had the same answer (green pepper and 7) in the other thread.

Yep summer rain is the best. Especially the kind that has no wind and it's just a somber downpour. It has to be summer though, that way it's not freezing outside. I like to be in the rain but still prefer watching it from inside.

I'll take spring back. In Montana, winter kept interrupting spring and so by the time I got home it was already summer! Stupid weather made me miss a season.

I don't mind the hot weather as long as I can ease into it - which didn't happen. I don't care much for rain because where I live when it rains everything just smells like dirt. Sometimes I'm okay with it, but for the most part I can do without it.

Are you referring to that Big storm that was in like the far NE of Linn County? because we didn't get ANY of it here, which sucks because anytime theres a good storm it always misses us... Im thinking I should move up to portland where the good ones are.

I went to Gran Canaria once, and despite the fact that it was hot as hell I felt fine. Then English summer comes and I feel like the heat is killing me. I've never worked out why that is.

I deffinatly prefer cold weather though, rain, hail, snow. You gotta love it, especially thunder storms.

Okay, now I'm jealous.

100 F (38 C) here yesterday w/ a 60 degree (15.5 C) dewpoint. In May. It'll be like this for at least the rest of the week and probably for the next four months. No rain in the forecast means we'll be right back to another summer of wild fires and burn bans - no campfires, no barbeques, no fun in the hot, sweltering, heat-stroke-inducing sun. When it gets this hot, you don't even want to go outside and enjoy the cloudless sky. All you want is to sit in front of the air conditioner with your shirt off. Yeah...warm weather. Great. Go away, summer, and give me spring again.

i like "weird" weather combinations like sunny but raining or really hot and sunny but really windy or just LOADSA snow
