MSN help if you please

Yeah, for the last few months I've not been able to use MSN Messenger because I get an error message that says Signing into MSN Messenger has failed because the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. 80040111 The 'help' is no help whatsoever. Any ideas as to what I can do to fix this?

You might try this: http://spaces.msn.com/imunplugged/Blog/cns...86E6!2180.entry (You'll need to copy and paste the URL -- apparently phpBB can't handle the exclamation points in the URL) I use Trillian and MSN Messenger all the time, and haven't had any such problems, so I'm arraid I can't be any more help than that.

My friend had this problem for months, supposedly he accidentally blocked it with his antivirus or something. He claims it one day "magically" fixed itself, but I think he's just an idiot when it comes to his computer. Not that you're an idiot because your MSN isn't working. Mine will sometimes just break for no reason. AIM is much more reliable, why won't people use it?
