Mmmmm. Ribeye Steak........Mmmmmmmmmmmm....
A good "Fillet de Boeuf", Medium-done (Apoin), as they call it in France. Nothing better.
I rarely eat meat anymore. But when I do it tastes so unbelievably good.
I gotta go with steak. Especially Jack Daniel's Pepper steak.
*drools*
I prey on crab (Crab rangoon, crab claws, softshell crab sandwiches), and chicken.
Granted, I love beef and pork, but those aren't moving targets. I like a little fun in trying to find/catch my dinner.
Oh! and tenderloin. Ohhhhhh the tenderloin. Tender... juicy... tender... meaty... tasty.
Speaking of choices of meat, I once asked a teachers of mine what steak he prefers. Quoth he "Well, I'm a New York Stripper myself".
Bearing in mind that the guy is maybe... 70 years old?
I don't think he thought his answer through.
ahhh I feel balance has been restored. lol
Man am I hungry though.
Another.... pepper crusted salmon.
I agree with most of you though. A good steak is hard to compete against as well.
Why not eat meat for breakfast? Have sausage, egg, bacon, beans with toast and plenty of butter. They do say breakfast is the most important meal of the day
Lemon pepper chicken.......mmmmmm.....
Has anyone here ever hunted and killed their own game?
I always wondered if the hunt and kill factor made the meat all that much more enjoyable.
I've eaten venison, rabbit, goose, phesant, but never hunted them myself. I liked all of the above except rabbit.
Yes. I have hunted and processed all of the above. I do not hunt anything I will not eat.
I don't like butchering the game personally, but it is part of the responsibility. IMO
So in one sense it makes it less enjoyable (to answer your question) But on the other hand I know personally that it was done in a clean, sterile and cold environment. I do like that piece of mind.
Oh god, any kind of meat done on the grill. I am old school, it ain't BBQ unless it is cooked over charcoal. None of this gass-grill stuff.
Begin with a nice ribeye, well marbled with artery clogging fat! about 1 inch thick!. Soak in BBG sauce, maybe stab it 40 or 50 times to get the sauce well down within the meat
Place over charcoal, turning every 5 minutes and reapplying sauce. Do this for 20 minutes.
Serve with a baked potato dripping with butter, sour cream, chedder cheese and bacon bits.
Now that's home cooking Seeker style!
Oh, did I say tenderloin? For breakfast, seared on both sides in a hot skillet before putting in the crisco. Use drippings to make a nice brown grave. Pour grave over tenderlin, fried eggs, and biscuits.
Yeah, I'm gonna die before I reach 50!
As of right now I like cube steak alot, anyone ever heard of pickled hotdogs?
Pickled hotdogs?
What do those taste like?
BBQ Baby Back Ribs FTW! I can't believe you guys left them out.
also, Buffalo wings rule.
Dark > white meat
I love cows. So much.
Like a pickle but they have a hot dogs texture, my dad learned how to make them from his dad, who I beleive also pickled cows tongue, and pigs feet, at least thats what my dad said.
oh ya, I atualy found a recipe for pickled pigs feet: http://www.chitterlings.com/pickle-pigs-feet.html
Seeker, I'm'a gonna see if our football team can't make it to Chatanooga again this year... then I'm leaving the marching band and going to your place for a barbecue...
I love a great steak. [/blatantly obvious] Also, I love a good, meaty, tender cow heart. Agh! Fried and simply seasoned, it makes a great meal or snack at any time of the day, especially for an after-practice swimmer.
I love meat.
Nah. Live cows make milk and cream and butter and all that stuff. Gotta have a few for that.Quote:
the only good cow is a fried cow.[/b]
And grill the rest.
Mmm, barbeque.
A hotdog that tastes like a pickle? What will they think of next.
Never ate tongue. Not sure if I ever would.
I've tried pigs feet before. Not by themselves but in soup or beans. Pretty flavorful.
OH, speaking of unusual delicacies... anyone ever try frog's legs?
My cousin's caught some big bullfrogs one summer, fried up their legs then dipped them in barbecue sauce as they ate them. They said they tasted sort of chickenish.
ive had pickled sausage...its k
one time i made hamburgers on a bbq, except i filled them with butter before frying...very good.
ever just make a bacon sandwhich? fry lots, and put it between 2 pieces of bread (and somtimes soak the bread in the bacon fat...)
Bah, you are being ignorant of the Great and Powerful Bacon!
Now, it is foolish to undestimate it. Who would dare say this doesn't look tasty?

My favorites are meat from moose and deer. And I love steak, sausage, pork, ham, chicken and meat from most animals aswell.
I would also like to taste (healthy) human sometime. Any volounters?
