Ah, don't worry about it you guys. After the GCSE results all other results are just a little "meh". The schools just get you worked up for nothing.

Its true, if you fail your A levels, *then* you're screwed! As I had the unfortunate experience of finding out this month...

Probably becuase in every class 70% of people are happy to fail. So it's all, shock, horror, mountains will tumble and God will descend from the skies if you don't get that C pass grade! (I can't believe my teachers think C is a good grade).

Well it's not, but it's the highest grade foundation paper candidates can get. Case in point in my school everyone who only took one language had to sit the foundation, so the majority of people got 100% on the paper and still ended up with a C.

I know it isn't, but for some reason they're happy to settle for a C - they don't actively push us any further. Guess for them they just care about the "pass rate" or something. Few people actually hit the fountain/higher tier roof in my school, though. At least they don't in science (you think I see everyone's grades for everything? I am no secret police&#33

Meh, you should be happy, i opted to have them posted to me, i'll be getting mine on Friday or Saturday and i'm worried alot I'll post what i got, bare in mind i need 6 C's.

Seriously you should have walked to your school to collect your results, it save about two day or three days of waiting. Espically if your worried.

Wow NeAvO, you did pretty darn well I'll have done crap, but i've learnt my lesson, don't leave revision until a week before the exam. I'm going to make my A-Levels look good!

I actually got 2 A's and 4 B's. One of them went up

This was this one guy at my school that got his C remarked and had it come back with an E

Was that in english or something? I'd never get mine remarked cos different markers could think completely different things.....that's really unlucky for your mate...

No it was in Maths. Well you ever marked his exam deffinately miscounted

i found out online that my maths result was 513/600 = 86% how is that not an A*...
