I don't really have a favorite. I like too many of them.

So, to start of a list that I'll probably be adding to (even though this one is still just a prototype) the Ford GT-90 is a badmuhfuhka.

I'm no car freak. As long as it drives and gets me where I want.

But I must say I love Stylish cars such as Vipers, Buicks and of course the Legendairy Hippy-favourite: Volks Weagon mini van. I would love to have one of those one day and just Cruise around Europe with it and some crazy hippy Musicians in the back On a Mission to Spread the joy of Ska across Europe

With the ever increasing price of gasoline, the last time I was car shopping I focussed on horsepower to weight ratios. The Hyundai Elantra with its 139 horsepower 2.0 liter motor, with a curb weight of 2700 pounds had a horsepower to weight ratio of just under 20. Fast enough in acceleration while still getting economical gas mileage.

so I got the Elantra and have been fairly happy.

But with gas getting even more expensive, I wonder whether the smaller engine in the Accent model, with the Horsepower to weight ratio of 22 would not have been fast enough to be adequate, considering that it would get a few more miles per gallon.

To put this into a perspective, a 'fast' car weighing about 3800 pounds and having a 250 horsepower motor would have a horsepower to weight ratio of about 15. But the extra power pushing the extra weight chews up a lot of fuel.

Oh, I don't like any cars..as long as they have air-conditioner and music they're fine by me; I'm 16, so that's all that matters for me.
But I do have one dream car. The Volkswagen Beetle! ... The old version which they don't make anyomre...

yes, they were very popular in my time, but so much overrated, and subject to repeated breakdowns.

A friend once told me that they were "very reliable". Of course I bulked at that and reminded him that it was recommended to rebuild the engine almost every 10,000 miles to guarantee that it wouldn't fly apart in catastrophic failure, and he agreed -- "Yes, if you rebuild it all the time, it is 'very reliable'".

Well, I was once left stranded by one of the things, and so I am not so much of a fan. Then I once visited Denver frequently and saw Route 70 as it sloops up the into the Rocky Mountains. Well, the side of the road used to be littered with Bugs with exploded engines.

And then those 2 Valve 1.3 and 1.5 and even 1.8 liter motors were weak little dogs as far as power goes. What? about 53 horsepower. The new 1.5 Liter Motor in the new Toyotas are about twice that at a 103 Horsepower. And the new little motors are rock solid reliable.

But then I once had a Superbeetle when I was young, and, yes, it was fun to drive.

But if you wanted that Fun Feeling today, I would recommend getting one of the Small Asian hatchbacks and then just stripping out the panelling, the carpeting, the sound proofing, the back seats -- everything that you don't really need to make it as light as possible, and so you can hear the little engine do its thing. Robbed of the extra 200 pounds of crap you don't need, the horsepower to weight ratio would improve significantly and the Fun Quotant of the Car would go way up.

Yeah, I love the 1969 model. The Ford Shelby Cobra GT500's are based on the Mustangs made around the 1960's and 70's.

I just remembered this car I saw on TV, a Bugatti, can't remember what model it is but it's the fastest car/roadcar ever made and it's not even for sale, they just did it for bragging rights That would be my favorite car I think...

If it was a car where money was no issue (and neither was modesty), I'm partial to the Mazda RX8... and the image of Hugh Jackman driving it does play a small part in this decision

If I were going for practicality, I've enjoyed driving the Buick LeSabre. It's nothing fancy and may even be considered an older person's car, but they run great and are quite reliable. The one I was driving this summer had 224,000+ miles and, despite a couple problems, still ran well. They also get great gas mileage on the highway.

If I wanted just a fun car, I also enjoyed driving a Geo Tracker. It's a rinky-dink little Jeep wannabe, but it was great
