I posted a "PC shit" topic a while ago.
Woohoo, the shit continued, even though I thought I fixed it! One disk died permanently. One external hard drive fried. Leaving me with my one disk that .. well, works. But I had to format it to be able to put windows on it.
So basically, I lost everything I downloaded since last November. That may not sound like it's that much, but considering I download like 25 GB a month, and that I downloaded 42GB last week.. It kinda sucks.
I lost a lot of stuff I didn't want to lose too (duh), and my external drive was my backup drive, but yeah, that one fried as well.
Anyways, I need a couple of days to restore everything and stuff. So I'll probably not be on DV for a while.
Sooo.. On a sidenote, anyone know of a good and free Partitioning application? Seeing I went from 3 different drives to 1 drive, I can't risk more shit. So.. Except if this drive fries as well, I want my stuff at least.. on a different partition than my Windows is located. But eh, yeah, PartitionMagic costs a lot, and the trial only shows the features and doesn't allow you to actually do the partioning work. :/
