I dont know about you, but i cant believe it has already been 5 YEARS. It has all been a flash.

I think that in honor of all people who have died because of terrorism, that we hold a thread about it.

Let today be a reminder of that fateful day 5 years ago that changed our world forever.

Use this thread to do anything you want about terrorism, including venting, thoughts, and the future of terrorism.

I also suggest that everyone sees this video in the "religion" section of this forum to see the danger and insanity of religion.

I would just like to say that this is why the world should be at war with terrorists. I hate them and i wish they rot in hell (if there is one).

Just please keep this discussion about 9/11 or any other terrorist attacks, including the london and spain attacks. I dont want to read about Iraq and why we shouldnt be there.

Everyone, religious or atheist, should take some time out of their day to think about the magnitude of that day.

      Thank you.

First of all, why does he want to know where you live?

If he is really pissed, you should probably arm yourself with some kind of weapon, even though cops are there.

Thats pretty freaky. Do you think he was a terrorist? ( i am not implying that everyone who wears a turban is a terrorist, so you people dont pull the race card on me)

that seems pretty weird....i mean does he seriously think that you would tell him where you live...if he does he must be crazy...i mean if he was a terrorist (i am also not implying that everyone who wears a turban is a terrorist either, so you people dont pull the race card on me)
then he must be crazy. If theres anything makes him more dangerous than a potential terrorist, its a potential terrorist with mental instability...but this guy probably is just some random guy who just let this incidant pass, or he could be some nutter who has a grudge on you, or just was tryng to freak you out or something...

either way watch your back just incase...

odds are nothing is going to happen, either way just watch out...

May everyone who lost thier lives that day R.I.P.

I also pray the REAL terroists (the bush administration) get what they deserve. Bush should have been impeached and put into prison years ago.

I was in 5th grade when this happened. That was such a long time ago.

Everyone in the class thought it was a joke they were pulling and I dunno, everyone else in the class was going about their business while the teacher had a shocked look on her face.

I also couldn't understand the concept of terrorism and that some Muslims with a grudge against the western world had hijacked a plane and I dunno, it was WAY over my head. So I wasn't affected at all.

I can't believe it's been 5 years already, either. Wow.

What I DON'T understand is that some news channels aired the 9/11 footage this morning, as it happened that day 5 years ago. Why is the hell would anyone would the relive that terrifying day all over again? I don't think it's right (or healthy). Maybe the media is trying to fuel the public back up so people will be more adament about abolishing terrorism again, but I still don't think it was a tasteful thing to do. I mean, they take the image of the twin towers out of the beginning of certain TV shows (like the Sopranos) for fear of offending someone or causing emotional pain by seeing them - and then they go ahead and play the blow-by-blow footage again? That doesn't make any sense to me.

yea that was one of the worst days of my life, considering me and my friends thought we were in the middle of an all out nuclear war because of misinformation from our teachers and principals. (my highschool was new and there were no TVs in the school) when i found out what actually was going on it was a huge relief, but i was still shocked to see pictures of the planes hitting the towers. i had just seen it a month or so before while visiting new york. but at least i knew all of new york wasn't gone like i had originally believed. that day made me feel true fear

the rabbit hole is pretty deep mang

pfft thats nothing, due to advanced hearing loss, an elderly couple in New Hampshire spent a good portion of that morning believing that the terrorists flew airplanes into Tyrone Power. lol! (crickets…)

Course he's not a terrorist. Jeez. I'm not pulling the race card here, I'm pulling the ignorance card on your sorry ass.

      Yeesh.

If he's wearing a Turban, overwhelming chances are he's a Sikh, not a Muslim. Sikhism is a religion with (to my knowledge) no terrorist affiliations whatsoever.

      thanks, blue meanine.

I wrote that "im not implying" thing so people like you would tell me the shit you just said.

Just shut up and dont adress me in any posts again, unless its a political argument.

      But thanks for playing

Thanks, but I am quite capable choosing for myself what I post, where I post it, and who I post it in response to. But look, you're quite welcome to put me on "ignore" if I'm annoying you... that's what that function is there for.

You said that you were not implying that everyone who wears a turban is a terrorist. But nevertheless, you basically said "He was angry. He was wearing a turban. Do you think he was a terrorist?" No, although you weren't concluding that he WAS, nevertheless, the fact that your reasoning caused you to suspect this man in this way is quite disturbing...

I'd also like to take the time to say that Sikhs, turbans and all, kick so much ass. They are ALWAYS freakin' friendly as hell... I know that's a steretype, but it seems to hold true.
