Identity X, see what is implied though?
This guy has never used drugs, and he has a judge prejudize on them. "Drugs are for noobs".
We're not saying "If you don't use drugs you're a close minded git", but those (hypocritical?) people that go "DRUGS ARE FOR LAMERS" while I'm sure 90% of them have consumed Alcohol.

And with these kind of generalised/prejudized/discriminating posts/sayings, I can imagine some people (also non-drug users, mind you) making posts in a slighter less extreme form as the example you gave.

Agreed. It's a ridiculous notion to suggest that you need to try something before you know if you'll like it.

Eh? I'm sorry, I'm not entirely sure what you're saying here? See, I would read that as saying that drugs are definitely BAD...

Ironicly you don't seem to know the meaning of the word 'noob' and thus use it incorrectly A noob is an inexperienced person. Like you are.

I recently saw a presentation by the DEA (Drug education agency)

really wierd. They showed us about five/six vidios, each one about how bad drugs are by showing some people injecting themselves well saying they arn't going to become druggies, and another about how this guy opened up the back of his head and sniffed up some of his brains.

personaly, I think drugs are bad, as they can damage your brain, not to mention that some also harm your body badly.

I really dont see the point of taking them

Technically, a noob is someone that is inexperienced but thinks he knows a lot about something, and when he does something wrong he actually acts like he knows better (if someone corrects him), and thinks he's better than the rest.

      Smoke weed every day.

Ok, now that Ive actually read some of this thread...

Do you people even know WHY it became illegal in the first place?? Not because of its so called negative effects or anything like that, but because Mexican immigrants were coming up and competing for jobs with Americans. Our government made it illegal so they could get rid of the Mexican immigrants, who most commonly smoked marijuana.

Or mine. Pity. I personally support legalisation. Doing so would lower prices, enable education about marijuana, and allow control over production and distribution to be taken out of the control of gangs, who have shown an increasing tendency towards lacing their produce with P (Methamphetamine).

In Britain I believe it was illegalised mainly because of its uses. You can make rope and clothes and things out of hemp, a few things still are nowadays. Thus it was competition with cotton farmers as well as with tobacco companies. Cannabis plants are generally fairly easy to grow - compared with cotton and tobacco - and so in order to control the industries, the government focused on cotton and tobacco, and made Cannabis illegal to grow.
Now there is so much tax revenue from tobacco sales (actually more than the NHS budget, smokers are paying for the NHS and more) that Cannabis remains illegal.
If it's not right it certainly sounds like something a government would do.

I even beleive that at least some corrupt polititions are involved in illegal drugs, well wouldn't you? Theres loadsa money in it, and legalising many drugs would - as you say - reduce costs, and therefore income for any corrupt people in power.

Yeah I tried it twice, a long while back, along with LSD. I only wanted to try once, and did. I love exlopring different states of mind, but once is enough for me.

I've tried once and only once. It was from a bowl and I actually didn't do it right, so I felt nothing. I figured it still counts because I "tried" it.

I've been surrounded it by it a lot recently. My ride to school is a frequent pot smoker and so are all the kids he hangs out with, and I'm constantly around drug dealing before and after school.

I've been asked to smoke a few times, and I declined because it was before school and one most of those specific days I had tests. They are all pretty cool about it and don't think I'm lame for not wanting to. They just figure I'm missing out.
