Yes, he was a magician. But he was saying that where he is from (england) it is too common to find such street runners, he was saying similar things about america too. Over here is new zealand. And yes it was emirically bent. I felt it and stuff and then dropped it, when I went to pick it up it was all straight again

I dont know man, I was buzzing hardout when he did it, did crazy card tricks too like made me lose a clear image in my head and had a picture of a card I guessed. I dont think David Blaine would go backpacking, hmmm, but thinking bout it it coulda been copperfield. Is he english?

I don't think that could've been David Copperfield he's American and he's not a Magician hes an Illusionist. He does things on Large Scales also making landmarks dissappear before peoples eyes and teleportation to faraway lands in the blink of an eye. He rarely does card tricks, I went to see his Dreams and Nightmares performance in Orlando Fl, and it was so awesome. He flew across the stage and across the audience without any attachments.. It was like He was in a Lucid Dream!

Before hand, if you bend the spoon at the neck a whole lot, then anneal the neck, it's really easy.

I have seen my share of spoon bending....

But then again I think I've watched the Matrix too many times....

coincidentily enuff, the same topic popped up on another forum few days after, weird.

That illusion stuff is pretty cool. Those shows on Fox telling how those tricks are done are cool as well. Its all just science and illusions. For instance, David Blaine picked up a dead fly off a window sill, put it in someone's hand and did some 'concentrating' type things until it came alive and flew away!
The show explained that if you put a captured fly in a freezer, it will freeze up and stop moving. Put it on someone's open palm, and that person's body warmth will thaw the fly and it will appear to come back alive. Of course, it will eventually fly away.

Try it on your friends!

whoa the fly trich sounds awsome, but im sceptical to say the least....back on the spoon bending i had my attempts at that....never worked but that didnt surprise me

I do know quite a few card tricks myself and usually show off to kids at school.

Hey you guys leave those little flys alone. What if you leave him in the Freezer too long. He would probably Die.. I don't think that would work unless you knew exactly how long a fly can stay in a freezer.

maybe they can stay ages......who knows besides the fly

my luk would probally make the fly get lost in my freezer..and id never find it
