      Well, I suppose if there's 700 users, and we assume 5% of them have a website, if they link to Dreamviews google will take the websites pagerank higher, and therefore we will increase in rank. So if everybody here was to make a website and have a huge link that just went to Dreamviews, Dreamviews would go up until it probably reached #2 or something- it's called "Google Bombing".

      You need more than one website to do it. If about 100 members here did it, it would make a difference. But it would be unethical.

      Let me clear some things up.

      Google doesn't care how many members your website has before it starts indexing your site. It will crawl your site when it finds it through another link online, which I'm sure has already been done for DreamViews for a little while because that's how I got here.

      Just because a lot of member linked to DreamViews from their websites would not neccesarily impact the page ranking of DreamViews on google. Now if the sites that were linking to DreamViews were relevant to Lucid Dreaming, then the page rank would be affected and after awhile you would appear higher on search engines.

      So in effect since lucidity.com is #1 on google for the search "lucid dreaming". It is safe to say that of all the sites on the internet lucidity.com has the most in-coming links from other sites about lucid dreaming.

      Dreamviews is sitting quite nicely at position #6 for the same search, which is pretty good, but could very well be improved.

      it's started crawling the FORUM. ok, FORUM. we all know it was crawling the site ages ago. and icedawg, it's only google canada that gives 39 results, google.com still only gives 3.
