      pain

      went to the orthodontist today after having not worn my retainer for a few months. so now i have to wear it all day so my teeth don't shift more. is there any way i can deal w/ the pain w/out using painkillers? they really mess with my ability to recall dreams.[/b]
      And I find it kind of funny; I find it kind of sad: these dreams in which i'm dying are the best I've ever had. I find it hard to tell you; I find it hard to take, when people run in circles it's a very very mad world.

      Yes...pain killers can dull conciousness during sleep. Your dreams might also be stranger than normal, too.
      Before sleep, you could take some pain killers, then wake up in the middle of the night and intake CAFFIENE somehow, to make up for it.

      do you have any ora-gel to rub on your gums?

      Sometimes that or alcohol swabbed with a q-tip can help.
      (but DON'T use rubbing alcohol!!!! )

      I'm not sure on how to give any more useful advice. I think both LC and Seeker's methods would work. Good luck with it.
