      Cool

      * I thought I put this topic in "The Lounge" but I guess I posted it in the "General Dream Discussion" Oh well. If a moderator moved it, E-mail me. I don't want to think I'm going nuts. ^_^' *

As far back as I can remember, I have always been a strong daydreamer. I often find myself recreating the world I live in. My imagination is huge, and always coming up with new and interesting ideas. I thought there should be a place to put these daydreams. Perhaps so I don't forget them. Maybe to use for a LD. Or even just for kicks. I've always loved my thoughts and daydreams, but could never share them, as they seemed a little abnormal, or different, but aren't dreams just the same? People here freely share their dreams, so I think if there are any of us here that constantly daydream, you should post it here.

Anything goes here. If you want to post about a daydream of you having the ability to fly, tell us what you thought. If you daydream of meeting someone, tell us. Try and let yourself go, and go into detail. I hope after a while that I get a great compilation of daydreams, and find that I'm not the only one who re-invents the world around themselves. Take a shot! Don’t be embarrassed. Have fun with it. If you ever find yourself daydreaming, pos it here, and share your "world" with the world. ^_^

I guess I’ll start first. I was sitting in class after a rather long calculus lecture, when the teacher taped his marker on the bored. I don't know how it got into my mind, but I imagined a long, deep echo that followed it, like one you'd hear in a cave. Then I got to thinking. What f I had the power to open a door to a new world without anyone knowing it? I'd be sitting there in class, and do some magic, and the wall would shimmer brightly. When the bright light faded, it revealed nothing but the wall. Of course, I'd be the only one who saw the light. Now, behind this wall, was the entrance to a massive cave. Several square miles. It was self-lit. This opening was a mile or so above the floor of the cave. About a mile above was the roof of this cave. This was again was only seen by me. With another magic word, the wall would flash again, and there would fill the room a new sound. Life a gigantic waterfall, but far in the distance. And the whole room would echo, like in a vast cave. By now, everyone would hear this echo, and try to figure out what on earth was going on. I would triumphantly stand up, and tap on the wall, and it would shimmer out of existence, finally revealing the enormous cave behind it. I would then stand at the edge of the entrance, and slowly tip over, falling into that cave, doing a dive into a lake of water, a mile below. Seconds would pass before a faint splash was herd, and the class was fill with excitement and wonder.

A lot of the setting behind the cave comes from one of my favorite books, Myst. It looks a lot like the cave of D'ni. If you haven’t read the trilogy, I really suggest you do so. Well, there's my first daydream. I hope I have given you an idea of what to post, and hope others will start posting as well. As this was intended for daydreams, I will be frequently posting my vast library of thoughts here. Please post! I want this place to be full of great and marvelous things. Ideas and wonders. Even if you don't think your daydream is worthwhile, post it anyways. It'll be fun, I guarantee it. Happy posting! ^_^

      Another daydream:

One of my many daydreams has a lot to do with emotions. I think that the mind is a creative thing, and such a thing as an emotion can cause us to do many things. One of my daydreams is that I had the power to change the emotion of an individual. Through some magic, I am able to carry in my possession a large array of small bottles. They are small, crystal, and bright in color. Some glow, and some actually take light away. With a flick of my fingers, I can summon any of these bottles into my hand. I would have a person stand in front of me, and depending how he or she is, I would distribute the containce of the bottle.

In each bottle contains the essence of an emotion. What I would do is take the bottle between my fingers and suspend it in air, and chant something. The bottle would glow brightly of the color of liquid, and float in the air. It's crystal casing would shimmer out of existence, and a glowing small mass of liquid energy would float before me. I would direct my energy to that, and it would glow with a brilliant whiteness, briefly hiding it from view. When one could see it again, it was in the form of a mist. I would then majestically wave my arms, and the mist would surround the person, thus engulfing him with that emotion. It would sink into their psyche, and become one with it.

Now, me being a highly imaginative person, I've created the light side of emotion, and the dark to accompany it. For this instance, a green mist, being the essence of true happiness, and overall good feeling, would fill the air around this person, and , when it settled, he would look at me and smile. He had no reason. He just felt happy. It was something he needed to feel in his life, and I gave it to him. With a warm hug, he thanks me and departs, a happy and content person. But perhaps someone has suffered the loss of a loved one due to murder, and one want the murderer to feel the pain of loss that they feel.

The dark blue, heavy mist would surround this person. Immediately he would fall on his knees. His heart would ache. Emptiness would replace his emotions, and would weep greatly. He sits there, face in his hands, and has tears filter through his fingers. The emotion would be real, even though there would be no cause.

As a last example, there is a light, sky blue mist of the essence of relaxation. Lets say that there was a man in his deathbed, and he knew that his death was inevitable, but he also knew that his last moments would be wracked with pain. Ever so softly would this mist drop on this person. His muscles would release their tension. His eyes would open ever so slightly. A smile would broadly come over his face. An overall happiness could be sensed in the spirit of the man. All presence of pain has left him, and now he can un-regretfully spend the last moment with his family speaking with them, and telling them one last time how much he loves them. It's quite the dramatic scene.

Other emotions and their colors are as follows:
      Anger- Deep Ruby Red
Love- Lighter- A More See-through Red
      Sadness- Dark Thick Blue
      Jealously- Bright Green
      Vengeance- Thick Black
      Curiosity- Clear White
      Confusement- Bright Yellow
      Longing- Deep Grey
      Loneness- Light, but surrounding Black
      Guilt- Dark Brown
      Passion- Gold
      Terror-Orange
      ....................

I think such power over the human mind would be too great a thing for anyone to possess. Such power could be misused, and tuned against them. But imagine if Love and compassion were filled to every person in this world in one swoop? All war would end. Everyone would help each other. Everyone would be equal. What a place huh? Only a daydream though.

      Hoped you liked it.
