Car Leanding ... And Now He Wants It Back

I heard on the grape vine that this one person lent one of his cars to a friend of his, asking that the friend looks after this car and gives it back when the guy askes for it (wich could be anywere between the next day or never).

now the guy who had the car lent to him is abusing the poor thing, spraypainting it, taking it to illegal streat races, etc etc. The guy wants the car back, and his friend didn't want to give it back dispite it being writen in the contract that the owner still is in control!

The owner eventually got it back, but now the guy who it was lent to is filling a court case

honestly, this is a majer WT fluff momment for me. what about you guys?

Did they have any paper work saying that the car was legally owned by the one who had it lent to him? Or did the guy who was borrowing it, have it with out the government knowing? Either way I think the owner was in the right about taking it back although he should've given the other guy a date on when he would want the car back.
The other guy shouldn't have abused the car either.

One thing a nice person learns in life early, or should. The people you cannot lend anything to.
Lending to some people means = thanks, you wil never see that again.

Just say no.

Let's hope the guy had good legal documants. In either case he will probably come up on the short end of the stick. That pisses me off!

Who was it insured to?

Pah, paperwork...
In the good old days lending something to someone and them not returning it was considered thievery. And thieves were dealt with easily - you went and found him and chopped off his head.
Contracts...pff.
