so whats the deal with a GED? can i just drop out, take it (and hopefully pass it), and get the equivalent of a high school diploma? are there are any disadvantages? advantages? |

you live in russia right? are you talking about russian GED's (if they even have 'em) or are you familiar with how it works in the U.S.? i am a tad confused |

GEDs will mess things up for you in the long run. You are looked upon as less intelligent, even if you have higher scores than one with a High School Diploma. It's hard to get a scholarship, and if you want to join the military. Your going to basically get stuck with the Army. Marines, Navy, and Air Force will only take a few GEDs, if any at all. |

Yeah, I live in the states now, and was a born citizen, but lived in Finland for a long while, and I'm going back after I graduate. But I belive there will be a New USSR, carried out the right way, as an effect of capitalism in the states. |

Oh and by the way: military will not accept GED's anymore. This is a fact. |
