Thread: Do Kisses Make Or Break A Relationship?

I tend to like kissing more when it's scandalous, regardless of who I'm kissing or how they kiss. That being said...I've always gotten bored of kissing people I'm in a relationship with and just sort of avoid it sometimes. Hmm...hopefully I'll find someone who I won't get bored of kissing. But knowing how I am, that's asking alot...

I don't know whether this is going to make sense but, what spoils a kiss for me is when the girl sort of... COMPLETELY gives herself over. I think, the ideal kiss is a mix of passion/hunger and reticence - there NEEDS to be teasing. Kiss, toungue, playful withdraw, kiss, bite, etc. I mean, it's no fun if it's just a ten minute long pash. There HAS to be teasing and reticence, even if the reticence is feigned.

I vote for the one where people stop posting relationship threads.

Technique I feel can be overlooked, unless it is absurd.
Bad hygiene is simply unacceptable.

Kissing is important to me depending on the situation. However I can do without kissing on a daily. I don't like an aggressive kisser that really spoils it for me as well as bad breath. As I've gotten older I tend to dislike french kissing more and more, I guess it's not all that important as it was when I was a teenager. A soft passionate peck not to dry and not to wet but just right is the key to my heart.

I agree with Aquanina. Kissing the same person can get repetitive. I always enjoy the first kiss with someone new more than the others, mainly 'cos they're so varied from the person before.
Although I enjoy biting, whereas most people don't, so that can be off putting to others.
There's more to a relationship than kissing, I voted for "if I like them, I can overlook a poor kisser"

kissing is ok...but i find i have to be in the mood...i find i'd much rather be cuddled, and i'm not sure why that is...

Dude, you sound just like the chick who introduced me to it! Do you go as far as drawing the sweet taste of blood? Or am I just a little weird?

I've never had complaints about being a bad kisser. if i know when i go out that i'll be kissing someone, i ALWAYS brush my teeth a few extra minutes, take care of dry lips, and ALWAYS have listerine pocket packs on me.

The first kiss is the real test i never start slobering right off the bad. i give one kiss and then pull back to watch their reaction. i can tell by the look on her face wether she wants more, plus pulling back is a bit teasing and playfull. if she makes quick glances back and forth between my lips and eyes i know she wants more. then i bait her by moving my face forward a bit and if she leans into me again to kiss i pull back again, teasing and then inevitably reward her with more kissing.

By then i pay close attention do how shes kissing and i match and synchronise what shes doing. after a while i might kiss her neck or stop and smell her hair and then whisper in her ear about how much i love her scent. then i start kissing again. Sometimes i abruptly change pace and put my hand behind her head and lightly pull her hair back and put more passion into my kissing. It all depends on who she is, everyone is different. the main thing i do is PAY ATTENTION to how they are responding to me, what they like, and what they don't like. and then accommodate them on it. when i do this Time can literally stop, you can kiss for hours if you like, or heat things up! I truly believe kissing is an art!

I had this boyfriend who all he did was french kiss me.. thats it! I avoided kissing him as much as possible or otherwise be choked with his tounge.. i mean he wasnt a bad kisser or anything, its just he used his tounge alot.. bleh.. and he smoked, so sometimes hed have smokers breath, which is way worse that all the toungeage...

I love kisses. I don't really have a preference for what type of kisses they are, as every kiss is different. Having been with my fiance, we kiss at least once every five minutes we're together, and I've never had any complaints.

Never been kissed... so my opinion is moot. I don't really have an opinion since I don't know, so what I just said is moot as well.

... but maybe if I did have someone to kiss me I'd take better care of my teeth

I also enjoy the first kiss most with someone, for the same reason, but I love kissing I can do it for hours, I love the biting, sucking lips, little bit of tongue, lots of toungue, no tongue, open mouthed, closed mouth, long lingering kisses, short teasing kisses, licking lips, slightly open mouthed kisses, dry kisses (not too dry), wet kisses (not too wet) all of it is fantastic.

I've been with my girlfriend for 15 months and we still kiss all the time so maybe it's just different people.

Same, little bit of tounge, lots of lips, biteing gentily, sucking. (i love making out with girls that know what they are doing, suprisingily alot of them dont.)

I dont get sick of making out with the same person if they are good.

Ah yes. I was lucky with my girlfriend, she completely surprised me with our first kiss. I felt like I had no clue, she was a master. I didn't consider myself brilliant before her, but certainly not bad.

Anyway kissing is just one way of expressing your feelings (lust or love) so for me I can make out for a bit and then not have to go further than that. Although, I do have a hell of a lot of sex so maybe if I wasn't getting any I'd have a different opinion

Where did you go to school? In my school, you would have been surprised by the amount of free loving going on amongst 8th graders, especially the ones with older boyfriends. Pity I never went out with an 8th grader

Ya, yeah i just go to a normall public school, unfortunatily thats how far "my" 8th relationships went lol.

Same exact thing happened to me, i was happy kissing any and everyone till i met a certain girl. Turned me into a pro lol.

-I dont have fucking herpies either, its not as prominant as depicted. :-)
