      is photocoping dangerous

if you photocopie your head is it dangerous because i did it.
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
      - Albert Einstein
"We're so engaged in doing things to achieve purposes of outer value that we forget the inner value, the rapture that is associated with being alive, is what it is all about."
      -Joseph Campbell
"He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. This disgrace to civilisation should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, senseless brutality, deplorable love-of-country stance, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be part of so base an action! It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder."
      -Albert Einstein

It's probably better for you than sticking your head in the microwave, if that is your point...

If it isn't then I have no idea...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

You were probably kidding; but I see no harm in it. It's just a really bright light. Right?

'less they spiffed them up using infrared or .. microwaves themselves..

I didn't bother to read it myself(I am not in the mood for that right now) but went out of my way to provide you with the link that will no doubt illuminate you with an answer. Anyway, here goes:

If you stuff your head in a photocopier you deserve to have it fried and placed in the next Mcdonalds McChicken bucket.

Actually, I hope you did not look into the bright light that the photocopier, because that light is very bright and the lightwave frequency of the photocpier is of a frequency that is harmful to your eyes, but it is needed to make quality copies. (It is 34.6 Ohms) It is also the reason why there is this thing on top to cover it up when you copy, so it wont go in your eyes. If you did look in the light, you should contact an eyedoctor, since you will need medicine. Be very carefull, it can lead to very big problems with your eyesight.

light is measured in wavelength which is a measure of distance, visible light falls in the range of .7um(microns) Reds... to .4um violets

ohms is a measurement of resistance through a conductor.

Is just a flourecent or incandecent bulb, its bright as hell so looking at it would be slightly damaging to your eyes but thats about it. I agree sticking your head in a microwave would be the dangerous one.

Ive photocopied my face plenty of times, and I came out just fine!

      His wrath undoes the wicked."

Exactly. The light is good for you, stare at it.

No, that light isn't dangerous. Unless you stare at it. It is green and pretty though.
