Sure....I've been trying to create proverbs....I found one at some point, it went: "a good proverb doesn't invite you to think, it makes you think"

Anyway, here's one I remember (dunno who said it): "the wise man doesn't say what he knows, whereas the fool doesn't know what he's saying."

I don't know how people think the founding farthers of america were chrisitian or religious.

Well this isn't really a proverb but I think it's good anyway:

Give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I cannot accept, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill because they pissed me off.

Here are two of my personal life collection - can't cite either of them though.

and

Ooh - and another uncited favorite that my kids have heard enough to recite back at me:
