Alright, I'm getting a job sometime soon. This week or next weekend, and I'm going to be saving up for a number of things. Most notably however are a number of blades I want to get.

Its a little hobby of mine to collect blades, but its limited. I have so many choices on which ones to get, I don't know what ones I should start with.

I'll post the list here, for some to look at if they wish.

There is also a suit of armour and pieces of another suit that I wish to get. The full suit (of Gothic Armour) is $3000. So that might take a bit of saving

(Note that I obviously don't plan on getting all of these)

Cool swords. I like this one http://www.reliks.com/merchant.ihtml?pid=943 plus it's one of the cheaper ones(I don't like expensive things...) I don't like this one http://www.reliks.com/merchant.ihtml?pid=938 looks too much like a toy.

I have really cheap decorative swords haning in a cross in my room. They're okay but all of those are so much cooler.

I like some of the black bladed ones. That just screams cool.

I also live this thing http://www.reliks.com/merchant.ihtml?pid=2247 I could just imagine swinging that around randomly destroying stuff and yelling randomly.

Building toward a sick-ass blade collection:
      Priceless

Good shit, man. I've got a small collection, now, but I'm working on it. Nothing as eloquent as those.
...My glaive and daggers are pretty tight, though. As far as swords, though, I've got one practice katana, a pretty nice display katana that's broken in half () and a short, black, full-tang ninja sword. I've got all kinds of other blades, though (knives, a shuriken, axe, dull replica of Squall's Gunblade, etc) but I've still got a lot of shopping to do in the future, for the more expensive stuff.

I've always wanted to get a shuriken or two. Those would fit well with a katana and a nice ninja costume

That's a great list, however, you forgot Cloud's 6 piece sword from advent children. I'd put that as my first choice along with the complementary bike.

Good! I'm relieved. Not for the reason you may think, either. I have no worries of you mis-using them, only that they are definitely not suitable for anything but shelf display. Do me a favor, though, and instead of those cheap Rambo-esque knives, take a look at some of Ka-Bar's offerings. The cost is not that much more, and most any of their products would be a knife that won't be an utterly useless display piece that I hesitate to even, as an aspiring knifemaker myself, call a knife. Instead it will be one that you could, in fact, use if need be.

Too, if you ever decide you want a knife to use, let me know, and I can direct you in the right direction. Please don't take this the wrong way, either. It's just that I see a lot of people that know next to nothing about knives buy those type of blades, just because they look cool. I try to discourage this when possible, as it both detracts from the business of the manufacturers that take knives seriously and make good quality blades, and nets the buyer nothing more than another dull hunk of steel only truly fit for a paperweight.

I'll admit that I'm not very knowledgeable as to swords, but when it comes to knives, I feel that, even if it will only be a display piece, it should at least not be junk. As I mentioned, Ka-Bar makes some very nice, as well as affordable, knives that are similar to those you mentioned, and are actually quality blades, made of good materials, and can be used. Also, they make what was until fairly recently the standard USMC issue knife; the Mk II Fighting/Utility knife, a part of history in it's own right.
