holy crap yikes!
They may as well have hired no one and just made a totally virtual face.
Wow... That's a really good video! Shows how fake todays' beauty image is.
that sort of thing isn't that hard to do either, and you dont have to use a good camra if u can photoshop it.
heres a photo taken with a webcam of a pritty girl, but with some spots and frekles.

I don't think the second picture looks as good as the first. But yes, it is easy to do.
even though i'm a male i do agree that wearing lots of makeup is not necessary, i find people attractive without makeup and stuff, people who really lay on the makeup make me feel edgy, asthough they have something to hide that they don't want anyone to see, if they want to be beautiful then they should be themselves, not mask it over with beauty products
I think it is good that girls are attractive in commercials. It makes them more pleasant to look at, and it encourages everyday girls to look better aswell.

It's no wonder all the models in magazines and print look so beautiful! You could make an ugly hag look good with techniques like what RooJ posted and tutorials like the one above.
It's scary to see how thin models are now a days, it's no wonder theres an increase in anorexia and make up obsessed girls.
That Second picture (Burns' example) makes her look plastic though.
Better? You mean, impossibly beautiful? The kind of beautiful you can't really be in person? Wow. This is exactly what makes 15 year old girls starve themselves and want breast implants, and smother their beautiful faces in makeup, so you'd never see who they really are. I hate what our society is promoting for females. Why should anyone feel bad, if they don't look like what society thinks isn't up to standard? Beautiful people down themselves because of this, and I think this is just a sick persona.
Forgive me if you meant attractive as in normal, without makeup, smoke or mirrors. But, that isn't the flavor I got from your post. Everyone's entitled to their opinions, I guess...I shouldn't be too hard on you. But, it's things like the examples everyone has given are terrible. It isn't fair what people are put through.
i do disagree with makeup and these adverts, these role models have a big impact on teenage girls and it makes them feel asthough they have to be like that to look pretty, i think people look good as themselves, makeup is only hiding their inner beauty, what made us think so low of ourselves, these adverts just don't help, the fact is that you shouldn't give a crap what other people think of you, you are yourself and shouldn't let anyone make you think differently, thats my final thoughts on the matter.
Don't get worked up over King and God's post, Gwen. He purposely posts shit like that to try to start arguments. He does it in every single thread he posts in.
I'm not, Burns, though I didn't know that he did that in every thread. Now I do. I just thought I was pointing out how terrible a statement that was, but I guess it really doesn't matter. Most non-insane individuals already understand that this issue is a serious one. Lol. Thanks for telling me though. :)
I couldnt resist adding my own:

And after:

It is really easy to do. Only took me around 20 minutes.
King and God,
I dont mind attractive girls in adverts.. far from it, but compare the girl in that video to the end result, they arnt selling with attractive girls, they're selling with lara croft style virtual girls. Its a bit extreme.
No, I don't mean impossibly beautiful. Many girls I see in school are good-looking enough altough they aren't models. But they wouldn't look as good without makeup, so I think it is good they use it.
And I don't care much for girl personalities, since the primary reason I want them is for sex.
Heh, I cant decide whether thats your actual opinion or your just trying to wind people up....Quote:

Id imagine your opinion will probably change as you get older.. and you get more of a grip on your ego.
In Internet terminology, a troll is someone who intentionally posts derogatory or otherwise inflammatory messages about sensitive topics in an established online community such as an online discussion forum to bait users into responding.
Experienced participants in online forums know that the most effective way to discourage a troll is usually to ignore him or her, because responding encourages a true troll to continue disruptive posts — hence the often-seen warning "Please do not feed the troll"
It is my opinion. I'm not a troll.
And I will might change my opinion regarding this issue later on, but I hope I will not.
And altough I think this way, doesn't mean I'm unable to love a girl for her personality. But the thing is, I doubt I will find a girl with a personality suitable to me sometime soon.
It certainly is the best solution, but many people feel an urge to respond nonetheless. A good example would be how Burns' posted previously in this thread, despite thinking I'm a troll.
Yeah but i understand.. its hard not to respond when you hold a strong opinion about something.Quote:

k then, im certainly not going to try and convince you otherwise, all the future slaps will probably do that for me :p .Quote:

Well, you're just a catch aren't you? I'm sensing that you 'couldn't' love another person for their personality because you know that nobody would love you for yours. Going through life using people won't get you anywhere. I know it's stupid to even say this stuff, because you are obviously a troll, or a 15 year old emo kid, but still. People with attitudes like that don't get far in life.
King and god, whilst everyone is entitled to their opinions, its not always wise to disclose them, particularly if those opinions are broadcast simply to get people's backs up.
Just a little warning not to stir up trouble, ok?
My intention is not to cause trouble.
I will not be quiet about my opinions, since that would be an act of weakness. People will have to accept that I express my opinions, whether they like it or not.
Act of weakness? Jeez, cut the Alpha Male crap.
hmm, king and god. I understand that it's your right to express your opinions, but there's such a thing as trying to force it down someone else's throat.
I understand this is difficult to avoid on the internet, but i know of quite a few people who have been upset by your posts.
If you're not trying to cause trouble, then that's fine. just be aware of the things you say sometimes, and how other people might view it.
I understand also that communication over the internet can be difficult, we can't read each other's faces.
