      I'd like to know

Okay. I love video games. There about a fifth of my life. But something about them gets me all worked up and that is about every six months or so they unveil a new consoel coming out or the latest Grand Theft Auto game (yah!!!!!). Like for example the new sony psp handheld gaming system or the new nintendo ds with it's dual screens. It makes me sick. I'm just trying to find a weekend job to pay for it all

Nintendo, super nintendo, nintendo 64, nintendo game cube, playstation, playstation 2, sega, sega cd, sega saturn, atari, xbox, dreamcast, all the gameboy crap, list goes on and on and never stops! Sega saturn was the last one I ever got which was a while ago. After that I said forget that and got a computer to play games on heh. Computer costs a lot more but then you can do a lot more than play games.

You don't have to be a consumer whore to not be able to afford the stuff you want.

I'd probably get a job to buy stuff too, if uni wasn't a full time thing. I don't use my computer to play games much anymore though.

I bought a PS2 one day when I had a realization that after 10 years(or so) I was still playing the same SNES game, Super Soccer. I was sick of it, so I decided to upgrade. It will probably be another 10 years before I upgrade again...

Thats good if you have games that you can keep playing that long. Problem is they normally stop making games when they come out with a new system.

I bought all the last generation hardware, and hardly even use it....best thing to do is just get a computer and continually upgrade. Your angry because they're upgrading the console hardware, and you have to buy and entire new one. Computers you can upgrade when you need to, and it's usually backwards compatible. Therefore a computer is the best gaming choice IMO. If the money's a problem, well, I'd like to say stick with what you like, but eventually you get bored and such. Thus, thanks to our economy, your screwed.

A computer normally costs more if you only use it for gaming. Infact even if you use a computer for like 5 years it will still be cheaper than buying a new system each time it comes out. If you get a computer though can play a lot of games for free and can use the internet, though internet costs more!

What I like though is games with good multiplayer so can keep playing and get the most for your money.

      Don't buy it at all.

I am perfectly happy with my computer. It does everything, and not once have I felt the desire to go out and buy a nicely colored box labeled "PS2". Or buy the nicely colored smaller boxes that you plug into the bigger box to find out you've just bought a glorified set of lego.

It is all worth it though you need to take all the stuff you got put it all in a box like yoshi from the screensavers. Then do whatever cuz the thing itself would be cooler than the games

I bought a PS2 cause I just think its a lot easier not to have to install a bunch of shit in order to play a game. Just put the dvd in the drive and start playing...easy as hell....

Also, depending on the size of the hard drive and all, I've heard its best not to have more than 3 games installed at once...

Think about it man serious computer gamers have 4 harddrives that probably hold like 6-8gigs each

Rather than go through all that trouble, I rather buy myself a PS2...
