      are you bipolar? (fun quiz)

      Score Interpretation
      54 and up Severely Manic
      36 - 53 Moderate - Severe Mania
      22 - 35 Mild - Moderate Mania
      18 - 21 Borderline Mania
      10 - 17 Possibly Mildly Manic (Hypomania)
      0 - 9 No Mania Likely
You scored a total of 61.
You appear to be suffering from symptoms associated with severe mania, commonly associated with serious mood disorders such as bipolar disorder or cyclothymic disorder. These symptoms appear to be causing you some serious impairment and distress in your normal, everyday functioning. You would likely benefit from the immediate attention of your physician or a trained mental health professional for further evaluation and a more accurate diagnosis and treatment. If your employer offers an Employee Assistance Program, you might also contact them for help and referral.
jesus, it sounds so serious. lmao.
i've just been thinking i might have a bipolar disorder instead of ADD, like i thought. i went to a psychiatrist and was diagnosed with ADD, i was prescribed strattara (and lexapro for anxiety) and i took both for quite awhile, but recently stopped because neither were doing shit for me. it was just making me sick. maybe i actually have a bipolar disorder, everything i've read definately sounds like me. anyway i took this one, but i think anyone could get a high score on this. still i'd like to see other peoples score andcompare them with mine.
no, i don't take these online quizes seriously, but i think scoring high on EVERY ONE i take makes it at least worth mentioning to my psychiatrist! actually, i don't even take all these "disorders" seriously. well, it depends. some people are lame and use them as a crutch. "i can't help that i suck, i have blah blah blah disorder, pity me :(". that attitude really pisses me off. i have no idea where i'm going with this.

      take the quiz!

ps you know when you type something really long and don't save it and it gets deleted? well that's happened to me like six times today and i am pissed.

That means I am severly manic, well it explaines why I get the impulse to kill alot or hurt alot and why I here music.
Also thinking about sex!?! what kind of a questions is that! Oh yeah im gonna put NO for everything, my ass quiz, go home quiz!
People with a mental disorder like manic or bioplar, normally have a higher sex drive. I remeber a study of rapist and they show they had more children then normal people, which would be the product of their highten sex drive.
IM NOT CRAZY, the only reason im more active/playful/money spending and all of those is cos itas holidays now and im going to parties and stuff is why!!
You got 28, thats like a E compared to my A. So if you took a intelligence test and got that low off a score you could proberly say you're handicapped. So don't worry normal person. On the other hand no boy who has a signature with a cat in is sane, almost sane.
"i can't help that i suck, i have blah blah blah disorder, pity me ". that attitude really pisses me off. i have no idea where i'm going with this.
I think having a mental illness is benefitial, mostly. I guess if you're a wimp and can't handle the negative side effects then it can be bad.

Hahahah, what a bunch of shite. I know for a fact I am not manic or anything and I scored 37. Which apparently puts me as "Moderate to Severe mania". Probably the only reason I scored high is because I've been so bored as it's Exam Week and I've been revising like crazy, it doesn't help that I have the attention span of a hummingbird either I suppose.

Instructions: You might reproduce this scale and use it on a weekly basis to track your moods. It also might be used to show your doctor how your symptoms have changed from one visit to the next. Changes of five or more points are significant. This scale is not designed to make a diagnosis of mania or take the place of a professional diagnosis. If you suspect that you are manic, please consult with a mental health professional as soon as possible.

did either of you read that part?
anyway i wouldn't think anything of it unless you scored really high, and on more than just one test.

I just tried myself for ADHD, ADD, autism, anorexia and bulemia. I'm not any of those, I just wondered whether the tests could misdiagnose me. It didn't work.

hmm, interesting. I didn't think I'd score that high

but yeah, paperdoll, if you think you may have been misdiagnosed, you should see a second opinion. Especially if you didn't see any difference on the meds. It never hurts to get a second opinion.

You scored a total of 18.

You appear to experiencing some symptoms commonly associated with mania or hypomania, but which are also found amongst the general population. These symptoms appear to border on the possibility of a manic or hypomanic episode. These symptoms also appear to be causing you some mild signs of impairment and distress, and would likely benefit from the attention of a trained mental health professional for further evaluation and a more accurate diagnosis. If your employer offers an Employee Assistance Program, you might also contact them for help and referral.
And I answered nearly everything "not at all..."

DON'T READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T YET TAKEN THE TEST!

Its a really, really simple scoring system... "very much" gives you a 5 and "not at all" gives you a 0...

But.. What I don't understand is why "Thinking about sex" makes you a manic

Perhaps it IS a mad world -_-

Ah yes.. "14" (Possibly Mildly Manic). That's more like it!

Give me a break. So, because I like to joke around and I have a lot of ideas and think about sex I'm some how abnormal? I love how every "medical" profession has its little gimmick to try to make the world think that every one is crazy and in need of their "services", at great expense mind you.

That's so typical of today's world. Notice how everything that was once considered "being a normal person" is now a "medical condition"? For example: ADD. OK, whatever. ADD is just a term for what used to be more accurately known as "being a child".

You'll find as you go through live that so many "conditions" are simply manufactured. After all, it's impossible for the drug companies to drum up business without "new diseases and conditions" to treat. So, to validate themselves and their shove-pills-down-every-body's-throat way of doing business, they resort to inventing problems that aren't there to begin with. Suddenly, everything that's been a normal part of living is now a "condition" in need of attention.

And if any of you think I'm exaggerating, think again.

That being said, where's my banjo? I think I hear some one lost in the woods.

Yeah they once had this couple on TV who heavily medicated their child because she was angry and violent (she was about 5, mind you). It turns out that once the couple improved their parenting skills, the kid became perfectly normal. Makes me sad to think of all those kids today who are medicated just because their parents don't feel like dealing with normal kid needs.
