I think the only way of knowing something is by directly asking -shrugs-

Imagine the embarrassment of a straight male making fun of gay men, and then you push it too far to find that he was just doing a parody. Wow.

I don't think the embarrassment of simply asking in a quiet private fashion and getting a negative answer compares to that.
I am posting on topic elsewhere for the most part.

I think your right, that would be embarrassing as all hell lol...

but the most embarrassing thing in the world is to tell someone your gay (or bi in my case), then they go and make fun of you and threaten to tell everyone, thats happened to me but i punched bastard so he wouldn't tell anyone...close call in school that was..prob 7-8 years ago

Well, being gay or bi means that ignorant people won't accept you.

Whether in school, or as an adult, this is true. So if that is your lifestyle, its good to come to terms with it.

If you're comfortable with who you are, what anyone says about you shouldn't phase you; in fact, let their stupidity amuse you.

You're right dude, your always right

I should just be proud of what I am and screw everybody
(not that kinda screwing although that would be fun)

Ignorant people will always exist unfortunately

I even hear stories that Bi-sexual guys like me get made fun of by gays also, is that true?

I heard once that bi's get called like 'half-breeds' or some crap like were on the fence and we're confused and indecisive, well i whole-heartedly disagree.

I think us Bi's are cooler (nah everyones equal in my book)

Guerilla, I have to confirm that a group of gays will only think you're gay and don't want to admit it, or that you're sitting on the fence. Ignorance is everywhere -.-

I mean, take myself for example: I am quite a number 6 gay and all, but I'm very liberal when it comes to things, so I completely wouldn't mind some straight hanging out It's like, the opposite of a bicurious xD

But I'd rather not use the word "gay" when defining myself to others - that's because the word is is filled with prejudice. For an example, take when I told my cousin I was gay - he immediately asked me if I'd start dressing like a girl and speaking femaly. My cousin might have been ignorant, but you can't expect more from other people. That's why, when someone asks me "are you gay", I'd much rather answer "I'm liberal".

That doesn't mean anything! Most of my friends are girls, and I always talk with them about everything, hell some of the stuff I have done (I wont repeat here) could be questionable lol. Doesn't mean a thing, more like he is comfortable....

I wouldn't jump in there too quick sailor you might get embarrassed.

Exactly dude, right on the freakin money lol, alota guys are just comfortable with themselves and that APPEARS to be a sign of non-hetero-ness which in alot of cases it isn't

but im so fuckn shy i wouldn't dare ask someone if there gay let alone hit on them!, i might get a fist to my forehead if i hit on guys LOL

i mean, hitting on girls so much easier, but still, even thats tough for me....godamn introvertness.....

oh and kromoh, so calling myself bi is like, deragatory also? or is that just for the word 'gay' ? I dont mind people calling me that sometimes, or saying

"you fag!" lol i just laugh at that now cause its half-true

im just going to learn to ignore peoples ignorant comments in life, cause if theres one thing ive learned, alota people are pricks, they are selfish, ignorant, and old fashioned and quite dumb.

but there are a good share of open minded people, straight people, open minded gays, etc.....

      /me <3's this thread

I wouldn't say 'bi' is that filled with prejudice as 'gay'. That's basically because 'bi' means something to the genre of "I'm liberal about sexuality", while 'gay' means "I'm a crossdresser, my neighbour fucked my arse yesterday". (lulz )

And yeah, being called a fag is so laghable xD

i wouldn't mind if you guys called me a bitch, fag or w/e else you can conjure! cause it doesn't effect me anymore

I think this thread was the first time I openly told people xD. Of course, some DV members already knew what I think of boys

      three cheers for this thread

oh an kromoh, and everyone else here, i was wondering, are you like a masculine type or the flamboyant type?

just wondering, im like a mix of both, i have my girly moments, and my regular guy moments but lately more girly moments, especially when i laugh i sound like a girl who cant hold her laughter lol hehehehe

I duno but i feel more comfortable acting effeminate SOMETIMES, then again im almost in a different mood every day lol, 1 day ill act mostly guyish and shy and boring

and sometimes my female side jumps out and i act nicer and compassionate and i even SAY things girls would...lol

lol I'm kind of like you. It really depends on the day. Sometimes i notice i even think in a more masculine way. but sometimes being girly sounds more comfortable.

I guess I like the freedom of coming and going xD

Yea its a cool thing to be both. Its just funny how 1 minute, acting like a full blown woman feels comfy, and the next being manly is...heh

      like omg!
