ace is very old isn't ti. My cousin up near Yorkshire says ace quite a lot, also he over uses cool, they seem to up their, ace isn't a Nottingham shire thing ill tell you that.

Personally, I find slang fascinating. It is the mechanism through which language evolves.

I'm not saying we should be shouting out phrases like "hot dog" or "swell", but some of the new terms are just ridiculous and make you sound like an idiot.
