The title says it all: where did your profile name come from? Why did you choose it? Does it have any significance etc. Just tell me about your name.
Mine's pretty simple, goldney's my surname. Nothing more or less.

I like cats, and Neko is Japanese for "cat". I've used it for years.
i am a very forgetful boy, and so using joey11223 helps joe remember as [email protected] is his email address.:)
It's based on the English translation of my Indian (Choctaw) name, lmanukfila tunshpa, and a nick name that my mom gave me. I also love to bird watch and am fairly perceptive, so it fits.
Damn, here was I thinking I was being original. Seeker beat me to it.
I started using this name HERE and have used it pretty much everywhere ever since :).
Marvo, I just made it up
Rambowjo (my primary nickname) has a longer history. Back, when I was playing Diablo 2, there was a goblin boss thing called Rakanishu. I couldn't read probably, so I called him Rejketchup. I knew it was wrong, but it sounded funny. Then, one day, I thought of getting a real nickname, instead of Erik333, and I thought up Rambowjo.
Actually, Neruo is Ouren backwards.
But it looks almost like 'Nero', and emperor nero was peter's "666" he wrote about. So basically, I am THE DARK PRINCE.
Officially, it was said to have been coined by Stephen LaBerge, but I first heard "oneironaut" in the movie Waking Life.
Im guessing mines pretty obvious
no story here
A long time ago, on a forum far far away... I wanted to use the name Bonsai, but it was allready taken. So Bonsay it is. I've been using it since then.
Stolen directly from the FAQ at St. Alphonzo's Pancake Homepage:
3.15 What is "Phydeaux 3"?
In the song "Fembot in a Wet T-shirt"', from "Joe's Garage Act I", there is a line that says "Oh.. You were the girl who was stuck to seat 38 on Phydeaux 3" ?
From Sam Rouse <[email protected]>:I think Phydeaux was the name of Frank's tour bus(es) for a number of years. The first time I saw him (Portland OR Paramount, probably sometime in 1976) the tour bus behind the hall was painted to look just like a Greyhound bus, but the word "Greyhound" that normally occupies the entire side of the bus was replaced with "Phydeaux" (same lettering style), and the sleek greyhound logo picture was replaced with a dorky-looking, crosseyed dog saying "Arf!". I don't know whether Phydeaux 3 refers to the third incarnation of the bus, or the third in the fleet that may have been in existence by the time of JG.
Tour busses I've seen at subsequent tours didn't have the FZ graphics, but I guess the name stuck.
In the cityscape on the back cover of the Absolutely Free lp is a sign showing a dog collar and the caption 'BUY A FYDO fits swell'.
From PUPP E. DOG <[email protected]>:The Band's Buses, on one of their West Coast tours were labeled "Phydeaux One'', "Phydeaux Two", etc. Phydeaux = Fido, as in Doggy! This is part of a running gag which concerned Frank's road Manager's (don't remember his name) supposed *love* of dogs. See Y.C.D.T.O.S.A.#1, Babbette for more on this.
As several people pointed out Phideaux Three is the bus Mary was on (Joe's Garage). Fido is also mentioned in the various 'Stinkfoot' versions, while poodles get mention in 'The Poodle Lecture' (Y.C.D.T.O.S.A. #6) and the various 'Dirty Love's. Note also, the *many* barking dog effects in his work.
The obvious conclusion: Frank likes dogs. Well hey, dogs like Frank too!

Pastro is my last name
The 'DC' part are my initials in the real world backwards. The '111' is just there because most forums don't just take two letters, and if they do, it's usually already taken. This is my username on every forum or website I'm a member of because it's easy to remember. ;)
Though I guess if you wanted to be creative, you could just think of the DC as standing for 'Dream Character'... it makes sense with this site.
Well, my name has a bit of a double meaning. The Man of Steel is, of course, Superman, and as most of you by now know, I tend to use that in self-referential humor quite a bit.
But as I'm an aspiring bladesmith and knifemaker, it's also a bit of a play on words. (quite a good one, too, if I do say so myself)
Mine is simple, My name, but as Adam was taken, I put the initial of my last name on the end. :)
I never knew that :)
I kind of stole it from a classmate of mine...
It was his nickname on StarCraft Battlenet (multiplayer)...
I never saw him playing that game anymore, so naturally, after a while I thought he had abandoned this game and his nickname...
And because it sounded cool: "CryoDragoon", I took it as my own...
I chose it when I was 14 or so and it was the first thing that came to my head. It's shit, and I go by "ashleypoet" or "IDX" at other places, but eh, it suffices.
It was originally "indentityx" on another site, due to a spelling mistake.
